SUMMARY:
Y/n always knew that he was protective of her, despite them not having been reaped for the hunger games and being safe in their own district for the time being. However, when the tenth hunger games comes around and her name is picked out from the bowl, the fear she had no idea that was there finally comes out.
She finds herself lucky that Reaper Ash was reaped with her, though both of them knew that they were bound to die since there would only be allowed one victor. Many people in district eleven knew of the two. They knew Y/n as the helpful girl, helping the poor families and the sick children.
And they knew Reaper Ash as the one with the tough persona that would only go away when he was with her. Everyone knew how protective he was of the girl he's loved since they first met.
And he would continue to protect her till, for the first time ever, he failed and she would die in his arms in the arena.
