INTRODUCING THE BIRLA CLAN

Abhimanyu Birla:

A 39 year old man, who is a successful Cardiac Surgeon nursing a bruised and broken heart. He was a protege with very high IQ but fate dealt him agony and helplessness, which he never deserved but he fought back hard for his family, his home. The irony here is, he never had a decent childhood but is an ideal child; had a turbulent marriage but was an ideal partner; didn't grow up amongst great examples for parents but is a phenomenal parent. His career was sabotaged multiple times as he always chose his family over everything else but today, he is one of the most sought out surgeons with a heart big enough to never differentiate amongst patients and conscience clear enough to call a spade a spade. He always stood his ground for the right, irrespective of the loss he endured. The epicenter of his family in every worldly way.

Manjari Harshvardhan Birla:

The woman of the house. Abhimanyu's mother. 62 years old, extremely worried for her family and anxiously waiting for someone to charm her way into her son's life so that she can take a sigh of relief. She has turned a new leaf ever since Abhimanyu decided to take charge of his family and did everything she could, to hold her family together through times tougher than touted apocalypse. She is a loving grandmother and an awesome mother. She literally moved on from being the doormat she was and lived happily ever since. Her only worry being her health and the uncertainty about who would take over her role in the family after her. She was once very important to the Birlas and now that has come to haunt her peace of mind.

Harshvardhan Birla:

The man who was never a decent father. He was in fact a toxic husband but the best grand father. Because destiny has a really weird way of demanding redemption from the biggest of sinners and once in a blue moon, they do succeed in redeeming themselves. He traced a rather traumatizing journey of 15 long years on the path of redemption and never gave up. He made up for everything he put Manjari, his wife through. He gave her, her love story quite late in her life but he did. He let go of his ego, power and position to be there for Abhimanyu when he was rebuilding. His grandchildren never got to see a single negative trait of his as they grew up because he changed so much. Neil did forgive him but they are more of friends. Abhimanyu is the only one who refuses to let go of the past but he doesn't resent him anymore. Harshvardhan couldn't earn his forgiveness but did earn his respect over the time. He is still a shrewd businessman, taking Birla Constructions to heights but has his ethics and heart in the right place.

Neil Birla:

The boy who stood by Abhimanyu through thick and thin. He owes his life to Abhimanyu for more reasons than one and is more like a child to Abhimanyu than a brother. He is someone who managed to retain his innocence and smile in the chaos all around but harbors some anguish deep within. The spirit of the Birla Household. He hates marriages and the concept of love after his brother's heart break. The best Chachu anyone can ask for. A responsible 30 year old businessman working with Harshvardhan in the Birla industries for the world outside but a notorious kid who refuses to grow up for everyone at home. He is the fun element in the lives of Birlas and they all adore him. His love life is the only point of contest he has with his otherwise happy and easygoing family.

Roohi Abhimanyu Birla:

16 year old adorable brat. She has a lovely family and a blissful life. Absolutely unaware of her identity as her family chose to keep it that way. Loves her family but loves her Poppy Abhimanyu the most. The most pampered Birla girl who enjoys her life to the fullest. A regular rebellious teenager always keeping Abhimanyu on his toes. Neil is her permanent partner in crime while Harsh is her sounding board. Hates studying and aspires to become a Popstar. Abhimanyu has his work cut out for him. He absolutely adores her but he is the only one that keeps her in check. She hates being treated like a child but still yearns to be her Poppy's child forever.

Abhir Abhimanyu Birla:

15 year old boy with a radiating innocence and a charming smile. Apple of the Birlas' eyes. Fitness freak and an excellent student just like his father. Very athletic and great at sports. Introvert to the world but a fun loving, chirpy boy at home. Doesn't open up to strangers, can be very stubborn at times and fiercely protective of his family. Just a little accident prone which is why Abhimanyu is particularly worried about his safety. He was forced to make a choice quite early in life and he never regretted it. He has an adventurous streak to him which pops out occasionally, otherwise he is a very obedient child in comparison to Roohi. Roohi and Neil often gang up on him and he lands them in the soup most of the times but also covers up for them. He has a great business acumen and helps Harsh at home in whatever way he can.
