**** I think that instead of Spock going through the Kolinahr Ritual and purge all his emotions he and Anansa will have a child and they "take a break" from Starfleet and move to Vulcan so they can raise her there instead of on the ship they will have another after Spock is "reborn" when he dies (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan [dies] & Star Trek III: The Search for Spock [reborn] **spoiler alert* it will be Anansa not Saavik who will be the first to find him on The Genesis Planet I might even have him give her his Katra instead of Bones I'm not sure yet)****

A few months before the end of the Enterprise's 5 Year Mission Anansa finds out that she's pregnant Spock found out in a way that may have embarrassed someone who wasn't Vulcan for when Anansa went to see Bones to make sure she wasn't just imagining things she told him to tell Spock through the Com when they found out she was indeed pregnant "you want me to....!?!"  Bones asks "I believe he's on the Bridge"  she replies he smiles for he figures she was attempting to "kill two birds with one stone" and let not just Spock but everyone she's close to know the good news he presses the Com button on his desk and says "McCoy to the Bridge"  they hear Kirk reply "go ahead Doctor"  Bones says "I have been ordered to congratulate Spock on becoming a father by the mother of the unborn child"  and as though he wanted to do his best impression of how a Vulcan would explain it he gives an approximation of months, weeks and days of how long she will have their child.... she is about 4 weeks along....  Spock looks around at all the excited smiles as he tries to get over his shock Anansa had told him that she was going to see Bones later that day before they went to preform their duties she told him that she needed to "make sure" about something but wouldn't tell him what all she said was "I rather not say until I am absolutely sure"  she told him it wasn't anything bad and that nothing was wrong but he was never expecting anything like this he had wondered why she asked him if he still planned on going through the Kolinahr Ritual when they got to Vulcan and he had informed her that he was not for he had everything he wanted now that he has her and now he understood the meaning of her question for she was worried about having to raise their child by herself or at least without him and that their child would never truly get to know him the way she would want him or her to "why are you telling him.... us this!?"  he hears Kirk say into the Com "she's fallen asleep, as she always does when she has a physical done she also wears one of Spock's uniform shirts which seems to help with that and apparently the cots are comfortable"  Bones replies the Bridge Crew chuckles.... as Bones was talking he was looking at a very pissed off Christine trying very hard not to smile at the sight he could just imagine Uhura inwardly squealing with excitement for her ex-dormmate and friend it was also possible that the woman was planning a celebration/baby shower for her friend as well everyone on the Bridge will be happy for her and Spock even HE is happy for her and Spock.... Anansa was 4 months pregnant when the Enterprise's 5 year mission was over Bones did one more physical before she and Spock took a shuttle down to Vulcan and they found out that they were having a girl Sick Bay was crowded on that day for all of Anansa's friends wanted to see the child for themselves for Bones did a ultrasound for them even Christine was there for that moment and she was the only one who was upset about it they decided on the name Synnøve which means "gift of the sun" though as she got older her nickname became "Sunflower".... Spock got to spend 2 and a half years in peace with his wife and child and so that their child would not grow up alone Anansa had used her magic to create a species of her very own mixing her favorite animal with a animal Spock said he was "drawn to" (Star Trek: The Original Series season 2, episode 26 Assignment Earth) a cat and a fox a week after their daughter was born and Spock watched with a awed expression on his face as she created a living breathing being with her magic right in front of him it was one of the most amazing things he's ever seen they named the Foxcat Zakiya which means "intelligent, pure" and when their daughter learned how to speak she nicknamed it "Sunshine" and she goes everywhere Synnøve goes.... one day a few weeks after Synnøve's 2nd birthday Spock stands out in their garden staring into space Anansa looks at her daughter and says "go pack a bag and put Sunshine in her crate it looks like we're about to go on a adventure"  Synnøve becomes excited and does as she's told as Anansa walks outside to check on Spock.... Spock feels a hand gently touch his arm and he looks to his right and sees Anansa standing next to him "I know what you're thinking but we're coming too one I am also a Starfleet Officer which means I will have to report for duty as well and two Synnøve has been looking forward to actually meeting her other family since she's heard about them and seen them through the Communicator Viewscreen"  she tells him he smiles sadly "besides we won't know if or when you would return and we'd miss you too much not to go with you"  she adds he hugs her just then their daughter comes out of the house with a bag and her pet crate "I'll go assign us a shuttle and let my father know what is happening"  Spock says Anansa nods a few minutes later the three of them are flying in a shuttle on their way to meet the Enterprise....
