What Will Become Of Us!?!

Spock soon becomes a patient of Bones, and Anansa when he gets stung by one of the land-jellyfish like creatures every time Spock "woke up" slightly from the sedative Christine gave him while Bones was examining a strange puncture wound on the Vulcan's back Anansa would sing him back to sleep with the same lullaby he sung for her while combing her fingers through his hair "doctor, the readings have never looked like that before, not even on Mr. Spock"  Christine says as she looks up at the monitor "don't look at me! as far as I know my voice isn't that horrible!"  Anansa says Bones chuckles Christine rolls her eyes "let's prepare to close"  Bones says Christine freezes and Anansa takes over for her helping Bones close the puncture wound and Christine becomes angry "it's better to leave what is left within him until we learn more about it after all it seems to need him for whatever purpose has been "programmed" into it from the moment it was born if we try to do more we could cause more damage to Spock than we ever could by leaving what is left within him especially since they're attached to his nervous system do you truly want that on your conscious nurse!?!"  Anansa asks with a slightly harsh tone as she and Bones finish Christine's mouth gapes open and she watches the other two finish what SHE was supposed to help with.... Anansa was given some time off so that she could stay by Spock's side as he lay in the medical bed "hey there handsome!"  she coos when Spock's eyes open he sits up and looks at her she slides onto his bed and asks "shall we try some meditation!?"  he raises a eyebrow at her "you're right that might not work.... let's try this"  she says as she moves her body so that it's closer to his and he moves his body back into a laying down position her hands grip his wrists and hold them up against the edge of the bed her feet and tails do the same to his legs and she creates some magical restraints for his wrists and ankles to keep him there "oh what fantasies are made of huh Mr. Spock!?!"  she teases as she moves her body off his bed and he tries to remove his wrists and ankles from her restraints to no eval though he himself knew he would never win the parasite that was now trying to control him didn't he feels her comb the tips of her fingers through his hair and hears her coo softly "I know, it's ok!"  then whisper "focus Spock take control of it don't let it control you"  he looks at her and says "sing to me"  she smiles then once again sings "his" lullaby to him as she lays one of her tails next to him "beautiful!"  he whispers then he focuses on controlling the pain so that he no longer feels it by focusing on her voice, scent and the softness of her tail which he wished he could hold once she senses that he's calmed down she gently starts to remove her restraints she stops when she hears Kirk order from the doorway "don't!"  she looks at him and says "I'll watch over him and if he loses control I will take full responsibility you must remember Captain he's half Vulcan and it seems his human half becomes.... distracted by me and we know how useful that is"  Kirk chuckles then says with a smile "yes we do, alright go ahead"  she once again begins to remove Spock's restraints "besides with it being inside him we could use hm to figure out how to heal him along with everyone else and I'm sure he would rather be the one being used as a guinea pig than your nephew or the people on the planet"  she says Kirk nods with a smile "we'll lock ourselves in a lab till we're done he'll be mad I'll be the Scientist"  she says Kirk laughs his laughter grows when she asks "is he more of a Igor or Frankenstein's monster!?!"  Spock looks at the two of them confused Bones rolls his eyes then he and Kirk leave and after Spock puts his uniform back on he and Anansa do the same then beam down to the surface to find the creature so they could study it.... after Scotty gets permission from the Captain who ordered that no one was to beam down to the surface and though Spock was worried that Anansa may get hurt by the creature he knew she wouldn't leave his side after all she did say she'd look after him he kept a keenly close eye on her at all times while they were down on the surface of the planet just in case he was surprised when she slid her hand into his once they had reached the surface but he allowed it for it gave him something else besides the pain to focus on he led her to where he had last seen the creatures and one flies straight towards her once they reach the area that the creatures were in he uses his Phaser to immobilize it and it falls at her feet he lets her hand go long enough to pick the creature up and puts it inside his specimen case then they beam back aboard the Enterprise and head to one of the Science Labs where they work together and study the creature trying to figure out what it's weakness is "maybe light or heat!?!"  Anansa says softly with a questioning tone Spock looks at her "well when the Denevan flew towards the sun he said he was free though he had to get pretty close to the sun to become free so I'm wondering what part of the sun would be strong enough to kill it"  she says softly he nods they along with Bones who enters the Science Lab to help them search for a answer they Spock and Bones try every test including radiation and Anansa takes her words to Kirk a little too seriously and tries light....
