Miri notices a thistle/mauve (light/pale purple) colored scab on Kirk's hand and freaks out "it's already starting I knew it would just like it did with the Grumps it'll spread all over you, and you'll yell you'll try to hurt everybody then you'll die I knew it would! I knew it would!"  she says as she grips Kirk's hand Kirk gently removes her hand from his "Leonard is a doctor if you take us to the building that your doctors used to use he may be able to figure out a way to cure him and whoever else may have it"  Anansa says Miri nods then takes Kirk and crew to the doctor's office building where Kirk, Spock and Anansa start going through the paperwork and Bones and Janice test tissue samples of the Enterprise crew that is on the planet in an attempt to isolate the organism responsible for the disease they find out that the disease everyone but Anansa and Spock are gaining is from what is called the "Life-Prolongation Project" Spock found it intriguing that Anansa may have figured out without truly knowing that it was true that Miri and the other children are older than they look and act after all the project is over 300 years old Kirk uses the closeness between him and Miri to get things he needs like finding the other children Anansa who's a pretty fast reader continued to read through the files then showed Bones and Spock the information she thought might be useful she stays in the room when the other children once again mock the "Grups" once again with their "nyah, yah, yah-yah yah"s Spock, Kirk and Bones on the other hand head out to try and find them Anansa keeps the Away Teams Communicators near her and says with a smirk in her tone when she hears someone climb into the room through the vents "it isn't very nice to take things that don't belong to you!"  the curly haired boy looks up and stares at her with wide eyed fear "you best leave before I call my friends back into the room"  she tells him he now stares at her like a love struck fool "ok then!"  she says she projects her voice as she calls out "Cap--!"  and the curly haired and in her opinion quite ugly male rushes back towards the vent and climbs back inside it missing the fact that she waves at the other two children who followed him into the vent but stayed out of the room and he two kids wave back with awed expressions on their faces Kirk, Spock and Bones walk into the room not even a second after the kid was gone "is there a problem Yeoman!?"  Kirk asks "I thought I saw a spider!"  Anansa replies "a spider!?!"  he asks with a smile in his tone she nods then says "it was tall with two feet, two hands, curly hair and a ugly face it went back into the vent though apparently it doesn't like foxes anymore than foxes like spiders!"  he chuckles his eyes widen when he realizes she was actually talking about one of the other kids.... the evasive ones that they have yet to see... "he wanted our Communicators probably thinking that if we can't take to the people on whatever we came to their planet on we'd be all alone"  she tells him as she holds up one of the Communicators he chuckles she stands up out of the chair she was sitting in and says "I'll be right back"  he asks "where are you going!?"  she replies "to let my ass breathe for a bit I have been sitting on it for a few hours but if you're worried about my safety Captian then perhaps I can borrow your First Officer for a bit so I'll be well protected from ugly spiders!"  he chuckles then nods with a smile Spock looks at her with a raised eyebrow as she walks over and loops her arm through his then walks out of the room gently dragging him with her which he of course allows "boys will be boys Mr. Spock"  she says as they walk and he begins to slightly understand that this "ugly two footed spider" may be her version of Miri and have a crush on her though unlike Miri it's all based on looks like many of the male officers on the Enterprise than her kindness and that upset him but she seemed mainly focused on the two of them the fact that they are..... in a manner of speaking.... alone and that he once again allowed her to touch him for even after they left the building she kept her hand on his arm and for the first time ever he began to wonder if there was reason for it especially since the other kids seem to always be watching them and yet it didn't matter if there was a reason for it for a part of him didn't want her to stop touching him they walk around the town for a little while then head back into the building....
