Dominik lounged on his  scrolling through his phone, when a FaceTime call from Milica interrupted his leisurely moment. He answered with a curious smile, wondering what had prompted her to call.

As the call connected, Milica's face appeared on the screen, a mix of frustration and amusement evident in her expression. The sounds of a heated argument served as the background noise.

"Hey, Dom," Milica greeted, a hint of exasperation in her voice.

"What's going on over there?" Dominik inquired, trying to decipher the commotion in the background.

Milica sighed, "Mom and I are having a bit of a disagreement at Tesco's. She thinks my outfit is too... attractive."

Curiosity piqued, Dominik raised an eyebrow. "Too attractive for what? You're just at Tesco's."

Milica rolled her eyes, "Exactly! But she's convinced I'm looking for a boyfriend in the produce section."

Dominik chuckled, "Well, you never know where you might find your future husband —maybe next to the cucumbers."

Milica playfully swatted his comment away. "Very funny, Dom. But you won't believe what she's doing. Mom, say hi to Dom."

Milica's mom, seizing the opportunity, grabbed the phone and flipped the camera to showcase Milica's outfit. "Dominik, do you approve of this outfit? I think it's a bit much for grocery shopping."

Dominik, caught off guard, couldn't help but laugh. "Well, Milica, I hate to break it to you, but I have to agree with your mom on this one. Maybe tone it down a bit."

Milica's mom nodded approvingly, "See, Milica? Dominik agrees with me. You don't need to attract a boyfriend at Tesco's. Besides, you already have Dominik."

Milica, amused by the unexpected turn of events, rolled her eyes but couldn't hide the smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "Alright, alright. I get it. No boyfriend-hunting at Tesco's. Thanks for the fashion tips, Dom."

Dominik, still chuckling, replied, "Anytime, Milica. You know I'm always here for fashion advice. And who needs a boyfriend when you have me, right?"

Milica's mom interjected, "Exactly! She's got her priorities straight."

Milica, feigning exasperation, said, "You two are something else, you know that?"

Dominik grinned, "Just looking out for you, Milica. Now go grab those groceries and stay away from the romance novel section."

As the call ended, Milica couldn't help but shake her head at the playful banter between Dominik and her mom. The unexpected alliance on the topic of her outfit left her both amused and grateful for the lighthearted moments that peppered her life. Little did she know that the threads of connection, woven through laughter and shared camaraderie, were becoming an integral part of the beautiful tapestry that unfolded between her and Dominik. The game of hearts continued, its twists and turns revealing the joy that blossomed in the most unexpected places.
