Being a Man in Love, is No Cake Walk!

Shubman had been phenomenol with his bat, Sara hadn't stopped clapping even on the singles that he took. Shub was trying his level best to hold on to the blush, but whoever knew Shub, or whoever had seen him play or followed his game, would certainly vouch for it, that day he was something else. He had a constant smile on his face, his face had a well favored glow up!

The moment 50 came up for Shubman, he raised his bat towards the viewers and cameraman turned the camera towards Sara. It was at that very moment, Sara finally realised that she had been getting captured all over, till now! But obviously, this wasn't going to change anything. She continued being her usual self.

In between Jugnu would keep nudging her and would say, "Aisa smile doge toh sabko pata chal jayega, phir mujhe mat bolna."

Then he would look at Shub and would again say, "Khoteya, iske chehre ka glow toh dekho. Bacha kyaa hai chupaane ko ab. Aapko rok ke kya faayda, vo wahan blush pe blush diye jaa raha hai.?"

Shubman was batting with Virat. The moment he completed his fifty and went to Kohli, he whispered, "Phaaad ke rakh dena hai tune toh aaj sabnu. Vo jo aayi hai."

Shubman blushed & blushed, how could he not. For the first time, post his dengue recovery, he had actually been playing this way, on the field and by all the fair means, there was a lot of credit due to Sara for it. How could he not give it to her ? An angel had come to see him play. How could he not perform ? She had stood by him during his toughest days. His heart was beating so fast. However, when he was out there playing, his concentration was completely and only on his game.

Goes without saying that India went ahead to win the match against Bangladesh. Shubman got out after an amazing knock of 53, as he walked back to the pavilion, his heart kept beating super fast. All his fellow teammates started congratulating him for the amazing innings he has had, at the WC23 match.

The moment Ishan saw him, he started:

Ishan: "Matlab aaaj toh Gill ko khelna hi tha. It just couldn't be like ki aaj vo nahi maaartaaa."

Rohit: (Acting all innocent) "Kyun be Kishan ?? Aisa bhi kya ho gaya tha aaj ??"

Ishan: "Bhaiii!! Aapko nahi pata ?? Aaj Sara Bhabhi aayi hui hain match dekhne."

Sky: "Gill ne kya uchal uchal ke ball ko maara hai."

Siraj: "Kya bhai ?? Maaan gaye matlab. Saaala! Kabhi bolta nahi hai, kya blush maar raha tha aaj. Sach me teri girlfriend hai, vo ?"

Hardik: "Ye lo! Siraj Miyan! Good Morning. Kis husn pari ke khayaal me gum ho aap ? Inkaa saalon se chal raha hai aur utne hi saalon se hum sab ko pata bhi hai."

Siraj: "Kya baat kar re Miyan? Mere ko bola nahi ye toh."

Ishan: "Waah Miyan Waah! Ab vo khud hi apni girlfriend ke baare me aake batane lage ? Puchna chahiye na be tumko ki kaun hai, kahan se hai ?

Siraj: "Pucha tha main, mere ko gol gol ghumaa diyaaa ye aadmi."

All this while, Shubman hadn't said a word. He just kept blushing & blushing.

But when Siraj completed his last sentence, which was full of complaints, Shubman finally said, "Siraj Miyan, vo udhar upar jo baithi hai na, mere bhai Jugnu ke bagal me, that's my girlfriend, Sara. Sara Tendulkar. Match ke baad personally milwata hoon. Ab theek hai. Ro mat, aaaj sabko bataa dungaa main, jo puchega mere se."

The moment Shubman said this, the entire dressing room gave the loudest hooot to him. Shubman's face had literally turned into a Red Tomato.

He just hugged Ishan and said, "Bhai kya hi feeling hai yaar ye ? I mean! What the hell was I missing on??? It was, it was, I cannot even explain.! And did you see Sara ? Tune dekha usko ? Kitni cutely she was rooting for me! I mean how did I get so lucky ? Itni pyaaaari ??Main ek baar phir se phigal gyaaa tha wahin! Mujhe pinch kar bhai, mujhe yakeeen nahi ho raha, ye sab actually me ho raha hai kya mere saath ??? Ugfffff!!"
