Sometime after the beginning of Lance and Lotor's friendship, the sun had set, casting a soft, ethereal glow over the city of Aurs, Shiro found himself strolling along the dimly lit streets. The cool breeze brushed against her cheeks, carrying the intoxicating scent of blooming jasmine that permeated the air. As he walked, his mind wandered to the events of the day, replaying every encounter and conversation like a song stuck on repeat.

Lost in his thoughts, Shiro made his way to her favorite park-an enchanting oasis nestled within the bustling urban landscape. With each step he took, the sound of crunching leaves beneath her feet echoed through the quiet night, harmonizing with the distant melodies of street musicians.

The park was mostly empty at this time of night, save for a few couples cuddled on blankets and a group of teenagers gathered around a portable speaker.

He made his way to a secluded bench situated under a tall oak tree. As he sat down, Shiro took in her surroundings, taking comfort in the familiarity of it all. This park had been their secret hideaway since they were children, and even now as adults, they still found solace within its borders.

Shiro leaned back against the bench and closed his eyes, letting out a deep sigh. His mind was still consumed with thoughts of Lance and Lotor. He couldn't help but feel confused by their sudden friendship. They were like polar opposites-Lance being outgoing and adventurous, while Lotor was reserved and mysterious.

But despite their differences, there was something about their dynamic that drew him in. It was like witnessing two powerful forces coming together to create an unexpected harmony.

A gentle breeze drifted through the air, causing Shiro's hair to rustle softly against his face. He opened his eyes and gazed up at the stars twinkling above him. For a moment, he let himself get lost in the vastness of the night sky.

As he sat there lost in thought, Shiro couldn't help but wonder where his own place in all of this was. He had always been the third wheel to Lance and Lotor's friendship now, even if he is the son of Zarkon.

But as much as he sometimes felt like an outsider looking in on their friendship, Shiro couldn't deny that Lance and Lotor both held special places in his heart.

A sudden rustling noise caused Shiro to snap out of his thoughts. He looked around, trying to pinpoint the source of the disturbance. After a few moments, he spotted a figure emerging from the shadows.

Shiro's heart skipped a beat when he recognized the person walking towards him. It was Lance, looking dashing as always with his signature smirk on his face.

"Hey Shiro," Lance said as he approached. "I've been looking for you."

Shiro couldn't help but smile at seeing his best friend. "What's up, Lance?"

Lance took a seat next to Shiro on the bench and let out a heavy sigh. "I just needed to get away from Lotor for a bit."

Shiro raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Trouble in paradise?"

Lance rolled his eyes. "It's not like that. We're just...different."

Shiro nodded in understanding, remembering his own thoughts about their unlikely friendship. But before they could delve deeper into the topic, Lance changed the subject.

"So what have you been up to all day?" he asked with genuine curiosity.

Shiro shrugged. "Just running some errands and stuff."

Lance grinned mischievously. "All work and no play makes Shiro a dull boy."

Shiro couldn't help but laugh at Lance's antics. They had been through so much together-both as friends-but no matter how tough things got, Lance always knew how to make him smile.
