As Zaid pulled back, his eyes locked into Mubashira,s.

As Mubashira,s eyes met his beautiful, black orbs. Her breath hitched in her chest as Zaid gently cradled her face in his palms, his touch tender and soothing which caused a flutter in her stomach.

He smiled as he leaned in, his hands cupping her face tighter. Mubashira couldn't help but sigh, allowing her eyes to flutter close, she allowed the walls around her heart to crumble.

As he leaned in and moved towards her ear, he whispered.

Happy birthday Mubashira.

When he pulled back, Mubashira felt a shiver race down her spine as she felt the cool breaze envelope her.

Her lips parted as she looked at Zaid letting out a trembling breath. A delicate sheen of tears welled up in her eyes as she said, her voice trembling slightly

Thank you.

Zaid held Mubashira,s hand and walked out, Mubashira followed him, her breath quickened it's pace, coming out in gasps as her heart raced in her chest.

Are Zaid sambhal ke main gir jaungi.

Mubashira said letting out a small laugh, as she struggled to keep up with his long strides.

Zaid looked at her, their eyes locked as he stepped forward, towards her. Mubashira,s breath came out as a small gasp, her heart fluttering in her chest.

He smiled, his black orbs, dark as a starless sky, deep pools of emotion. The shiver that raced through her spine was heart-stirring. She saw an emotion in the depths of his gaze which she wasn't able to make out. His beautiful black eyes sparkling with an undefinable emotion that left her puzzled.

Her heartbeat stopped as Zaid took another step forward. The distance between them seemed to blur as if pulled by an invisible thread. Zaid stopped, their faces inches apart. Their eyes met, a mixture of emotions reflecting in their depths.

Zaid,s hand reached backwards, holding onto the delicate curve of her waist, his fingers spreading to cover more of it. Mubashira,s eyes widened as a breathless gasp escaped her lips. A gentle blush colored her cheeks.

Tumhein maine thama hai.

Zaid said, his voice a notch lower, his black orbs, dark as a starless sky were deep pools of emotion as his other hand reached up and caressed her cheek with a touch as light as a feather. A tear rolled up on her cheek. She couldn't help but look at him, her beautiful eyes filled with emotion bore into his as her other hand reached up and then she caressed his upper cheek. Zaid closed his eyes, the moonlight casting gentle shadows across his features. The gentle breeze weaving through his hair lifting the strands of his hair, in that moment as she caressed his face, his face softened and he looked like a figure carved from the night itself.

Her eyes glistening with emotion as she found the courage to voice out her question, her voice barely above a whisper

Kyun?

Zaid tightened his hold on her waist as he spoke, his voice filled with sincarity

Kyunke tumhein maine thama hai.

Mubashira,s heart trembled in her chest, her hand dropped from his cheek as she looked at him.

Main tumhein girne nahin doonga.

Zaid added, his eyes, a mixture of tenderness and sincerity.

Mubashira looked at him, a wave of nostalgia clouding her judgement.
