"Something not right here, wasting huge amount of money on students just because they passed the entrance exam, that's illogical." the black haired beauty beside me mumbled to herself.
"I know right, it's like they want to spoil us." I tried to start a conversation with her.
As soon as she heard me her glare came back. Looking at me like I am scum of the earth.
"What, Did I do anything to you ?"
"No, just know your place, don't try to talk with me."
"How do you expect me to not talk to the person who will sit beside me for the whole year."
And she is ignoring me.
Oh well I tried. As all of this was going on the class were talking amongst themselves about things to buy, places to visit. Atleast nobody is dumb enough to rent the private quarters. It's a trap set by the school for spending money. Even though you will have freedom to do whatever you want with no curfew, you will go bankrupt. Anyway.
"Everybody, can you please to me for a moment ?" I stood up and asked.
The whole class stopped talking and looked at me, atleast they listen.
“Starting today, we’re all going to be classmates. Therefore, I think it’d be good for us to introduce ourselves and become friends as soon as possible. We still have some time until the entrance ceremony. What do you say?” I took the lead.
"I agree, we don't know anything about each other, not even our names." said a guy of average height with blonde hair and brown eyes.
“My name’s Hirata Yousuke. Back in junior high, lots of people called me Yousuke. Feel free to use my first name! I guess my hobby is sports in general, but I especially like soccer. I’m planning on playing soccer here, too. Nice to meet you!” he said.
The girls had hearts in there eyes. He has potential to become one of the core members of the class.
" I will go next, my name is Ayanokoji Kiyotaka, I was homeschooled my entire life, so I never had any friends but I would like to change that. I am fairly good in studies and in sports. My favorite hobbies is to play chess, piano and calligraphy. I would like to learn new stuff, if you have suggestions then please recommend me."
My speech got me the Hirata treatment. Girls with heart in there eyes and boys with hatred.
"Well, then how about we start introducing from the front ?" I said and sat down.
The girl with shoulder-length brown hair and yellow-gradient violet eyes at the front started panicking, she seems like the shy type.
“M-my name is…Inogashira Ko-Ko…”
"It's okay to go slow, there's no need to rush" as I said that, she blushed red for some reason. But she calmed herself and continued.
“My name is Inogashira…Kokoro. Um, my hobby is sewing. I’m pretty good at knitting. I-It’s nice to meet you all.”
“I’m Yamauchi Haruki. I competed in table tennis during elementary school, and in junior high I was the ace player on our baseball team. I was number four. I got hurt during the inter-high school championships, though, and I’m undergoing rehab now. Nice to meet you.” said a boy with an ugly face.
"Good joke buddy, you participated in high school tournament while being in junior high? " girls who were repulsed by him started laughing after hearing what I said.
He gave me a glare, which was comparable to a mule's glare and sat down.
“Well then, I’m next, aren’t I?” said a cheerful girl. She stood up and continued.
