Vol-2 Ch-6 The Convincer

As the bell rang, signalling the end of class. Kikyou, Chiaki and I stood up.

I went towards Sodou. His face showed his nervousness.

"Sodou, listen to me carefully. Don't say anything at the meeting, I repeat do not open your mouth to speak."

In any other situation, he would have tried to fight me on this, but he knew that his future in this school depends on me.

"Hey Sodou, wish us luck. We're are going on a date with Yajima and Okabe. Oh, I can't wait to do naughty things with her." said Yamauchi.

"My future is on the line here and you guys are going on a date! At least wish me luck." Sodou said.

"Oh, yeah. You had a meeting today to decide your punishment right? We totally forgot about that. But don't worry, when we have our girlfriends. We will help you out." Ike said without an ounce of shame.

Sodou looked like he would crush them to death, if I didn't stop him another tragedy would await him.

"Sodou, let's go. We don't have time for this."

Sodou, Chiaki and I left the classroom. Kikyou said she would be joining us in a while.

The discussion was scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM. It was already 3:50 PM. We couldn't afford to take it slow.

As we reached the top floor of the club building. We saw Chabashira-sensei standing outside of what looked like a conference room. The reception desk was void of the angry senpai.

"So, are you ready Sodou? Everyone is already inside." she asked.

But Sodou remained silent. Looks like he is taking my advice rather seriously.

Sae then looked at me with questioning eyes. I gave her a nod that said 'Don't worry, I got this.' By that time Kikyou also joined us and we entered the room.

"Did you do it?"

"Yes, but you owe me a lot for this one. It was the most disgusting thing I ever did."

"Now you are just being melodramatic, Kikyou."

We ended our conversation and sat down in the seats. I opened the file I had received from Manabu in front of me and started playing with a pen. I observed the environment carefully.

It was a rectangular table with Manabu sitting at the head of the table. On his left was Nagumo Miyabi and his right seat was occupied by Tachibana Akane.

Sae sat down beside Tachibana followed by Kikyou, me, Sodou and Chiaki. On the other side Class C's homeroom teacher Sakagami was followed by Ishizaki, Kondou and Komiya.

Looks like Ryūen wanted to stay hidden for this one.

"Sorry we're late," our sensei said.

"It's before the scheduled start time. There's no need for apologies." said Sakagami.

"Well then, I would now like to discuss the violent incident that occurred last Saturday with the members of the student council, the involved parties, and their homeroom teachers. You may begin the proceedings, student council secretary Tachibana." Manabu announced in a professional manner.

Secretary Tachibana summarized the situation from both sides in an easy- to-understand manner. There wasn't any need for further explanation.

"Based on the aforementioned facts, we would like for you to identify which version of events is true."

After completing her explanation and the preface to the proceedings, Secretary Tachibana turned her eyes toward us in Class D.

"Komiya-kun and two other members of the basketball club went to the special building after Sudou-kun called them there. There, they claim to have been beaten up in a one-sided brawl. Is this true?"
