It is so funny to think that things we thought way back long ago will be where we are the moment we get to reminisce. It is true enough that we will never go the way we want to go.

Buy things that won't even change.

Even time pass, years may change, but if we see each other again, we will still be wearing our older faces. Those faces we witnessed smiled, laugh, cried, and cheered. It won't change. The fact that we knew each other back then, won't.

"Wow, it's been years! Kumusta, kumusta?"

I didn't even tried to hold my smile. I missed the warmth of these people. High school was the greatest memory that I stored in my heart, that I won't be ever replacing.

Those memories will be engraved herein.

"Ken! Nakarating rin! We're really lucky tonight, two of our hard to get bachelors are here!" One of my batch mates snickered on the newcomer.

"Paulo's here?" Oh, that bass voice! It didn't change at all.

"You didn't even change aren't you? Paulo pa rin. Paulo, palagi. Tsk." I heard that!

"Don't even try denying it. Highschool palang, gan'yan ka na! Look at your smile!" I heard laughter.

My back is facing them and if I look back, it'll be too obvious that I want to see him.

I didn't expect him to be here? I wasn't really expecting anything but yet, he's here. Great. Now everything come back like mad memories trying to rose themselves up from where I buried them.

"Jah!"

Siraulo.

I shook my head at the memory of the very start of everything.

"Kompleto tayo! What a good time to catch up!" All of my classmates were those people that I won't ever forget. They're one of a kind.

Masasabi kong sila ang dahilan kung bakit masaya ang mga taon ko sa highschool. They made it easy for me to lead. I was there class president for four years, consistently, we all clamp together in a class. May nadagdag at may naalis. But they're very few.

"Sineryoso niyo naman 'yung mga position niyo sa class officers dati, even our muses and escort became pageantry king and queen! May Miss Universe candidate pa tayo dito!"

"And the president? A literal president of a company, what a class! Samantalang ako, trophy wife! Oh well, I love my life, my kids, and my hubby!"

I love to hear everyone's achievement. I love heating success. Perhaps that's all we wish when we finish highschool, each other's success. And sure enough, we all achieved what we think is success.

We all have different definition of success. Money and assets sometimes doesn't count as one for everybody. Success is something that we feel fulfillment from. Contentment and happiness. I do think, that's it. Not achieving zeros on account, and money flow.
