A/n I've rewritten the first few chapters as I was not satisfied with my writing.

Leila had grown accustomed to Hel's presence. After finishing her morning shift at the garden, she would frequently visit Hel's room and find solace in it. Despite the lack of verbal communication between them, they would engage in light conversations while Leila tidied up the room, with Hel engrossed in her reading.

Leila observed Hel closely for weeks and noticed her underlying shyness beneath her confident exterior. Hel would subtly brush against Leila's shoulders as she passed by, trying to catch a hint of her captivating scent. Despite Hel's preference for orderliness, she would intentionally leave items in random spots to give Leila a sense of purpose in her room.

Leila's confusion was increasing with each passing day as Hel never made an attempt to use her body, either for feeding or her own pleasure. Instead, Leila would often find Hel seated, engrossed in reading books. Leila began to wonder why Hel had requested for her to clean her room when there were plenty of others available to do the task for her.

"Why am I here?" Leila inquired as she meticulously arranged the final book on the shelf in an alphabetical sequence. Hel, engrossed in her own reading, glanced up and fixated her gaze upon the woman whose back was turned towards her.

Her eyes gradually descended, imagining Leila's appearance beneath her attire. She quickly shook that thought away and cleared her throat, "To tidy my room, of course."

Leila hummed softly as she couldn't get the right answer to her question. Hel rose from her seat and made her way towards the window, and as she passed by Leila, she subtly reduced her pace. Although Hel believed she was being discreet, Leila was well aware of her actions.

In fact, she had been observing this behavior for a few weeks now, finding it endearing. Initially, Leila had been self-conscious about her body scent, but witnessing Hel's persistent attempts to be near her, despite being able to detect her fragrance from miles away, made her view it in a new light. So cute. Leila thought as she pretended to not notice the way Hel tried to get closer to her physically.

Rosaline burst into the room, which spooked Leila while Hel looked unaffected. She walked in with an innocent face, flashing a smile at Leila which the latter reciprocated and Hel let out an exasperated sigh as she already knew what Rosaline was going to ask for. "I need to visit Naza."

"Naza or the witch?" Hel inquired, staring at the woman with a bored look. She had heard about the witch Rosaline was crushing on and even though she seemed to be smitten by her, Hel failed to see Ada reciprocating it.

"This is actually important," Rosaline swore but Hel wasn't having it. Hel shook her head and rubbed her temple. Leila was watching both of them in amusement. She observed Hel's forearm that was exposed and noticed the way her muscles flexed as she rubbed her temple. Then her eyes ascended to Hel's lips, the way how they moved as she spoke. She wasn't listening to what they were talking about.

"Please,Dion. I'm telling you, she wants me too," Rosaline continued. Hel was tired of her delusions but before she could retort, she heard Leila's heartbeat fastening. She turned towards the redhead, confused and found her already gazing at her with a slight blush on her cheeks.

Upon being caught, Leila cleared her throat and spoke hastily, "I should get going."
Before Hel could speak, the human left quickly, leaving both of them to bicker in Hel's room. And as she walked towards her new room, she kept wondering about her feelings for Hel. She knew she was attracted to her from the moment their eyes met. However, it wasn't love at first sight.

But that isn't to say that it couldn't be something special for she found herself searching for her eyes in a crowd of people. Hel was physically attractive but that was it. Leila didn't know her well enough to actually harbour any feelings for her. Even so, she wanted to know Hel. Everything about her.

Leila admits, she found great pleasure in observing Hel. Occasionally, she would discreetly observe her while she was engrossed in reading. They had been spending time together in Hel's room for several weeks, marking four months since they started.

Rosaline would frequently pay them visits and comfortably settle in Hel's room. Leila admired the way Hel interacted with Rosaline, how she delicately brushed her dark hair with her slender fingers, and how she gazed at Leila with tenderness. Hel's eyes, once resembling blood, now resembled the soft petals of a rose. The silver flecks in her eyes resembled the dewdrops that adorn the rose petals on a tranquil morning.

Leila came to the realization that her feelings ran deeper than a mere curiosity. As she stood before the shed in the garden, she couldn't help but cover her mouth as her heart raced with the sudden realisation. She didn't know how to handle her feelings growing rapidly for someone she barely knew.

Leila's heart fluttered as she stepped into the newly transformed room. Hel had instructed her guards to convert the shed into Leila's own room, taking note of her fondness for the garden's blooming flowers. Hel was trying to impress Leila quietly, yearning for her approval. The aprons and gardening tools were relocated to a nearby shed, just a short distance from Leila's haven.

Little did Hel know, Leila was falling harder for her.

Rosaline grinned as she left Hel's chamber. She eventually persuaded Hel to cover her back while she visits Ada. The vampire was filled with excitement, eagerly looking forward to seeing Ada. She was deeply infatuated with the witch.

She ran faster than she normally did, reaching the forest in a few minutes. Naza could already sense her presence way before the others could and she let out a tired sigh. Her mate, Shanika, who was laying on their bed, kissed Naza's shoulder and rubbed her back with her hand gently. "What is it, Love?" she inquired as she kissed Naza's nape.

The dreadlocked woman let out a soft hum as she shifted her attention towards her mate. "Rosaline is back. For Ada," she uttered, earning a chuckle from the expectant mother. Shanika was carrying Naza's child. They were still growing in her womb and their mate bond had only deepened as the pregnancy progressed.

Shanika placed her hands on Naza's cheeks, cupping her face as she kissed her nose softly. "It's okay. Leave them be. If Ada gets uncomfortable around Rosaline, she'll let you know," she reasoned.

Naza melted in her mate's embrace and she gave Shanika small kisses on her cheeks. It was true, Ada was strong enough to put Rosaline at her place if she were to overstep any boundaries. Even though she appeared to be virtually irritated with Rosaline's presence, she hadn't tried to hurt her.

Rosaline emerged in front of the pack's dwelling. She inhaled deeply, a mischievous grin adorning her face, before vanishing amidst the foliage. While making her way towards the pond that had materialized in the heart of the woodland, she noticed Ada sitting by its edge.

The witch heard a snap and within a few seconds, Rosaline found herself soaring through the air and she collided with one of the trees, breaking it in half. She let out a painful groan and Ada shifted her head towards her direction. Upon seeing Rosaline, her gaze changed and muttered, "Much deserved."

"Wow, seriously?" Rosaline got up from the ground, patting the dust off her clothes. She wore a pair of black trousers with a mahogany collared shirt, the upper two buttons undone.

Ada stared at the blonde woman, standing in front of her. She observed the golden eyed vampire shamelessly checking her out. In an attempt to interrupt her, Ada cleared her throat, yet the blonde woman remained indifferent and continued her scrutiny, her eyes roaming over the woman's umber skin, wrapped with a long caramel dress. "Unbelievable," Ada commented on Rosaline's lack of shame.

She raised a rock that was nearby and shot it at Rosaline, using her power. Ada was impressed by Rosaline's quick reflexes as she swiftly caught the rock. She remained nonchalant and walked off from the place. Rosaline followed her behind, unabashedly staring at her back.
"Why won't you give me a chance?" she whined, following the woman.
