DDOT made his way to the car before he quickly got in—he was gonna be meeting with mariah while leilani was out running errands with keimeir. he had to break up with the girl, he never really wanted to be in a relationship with her—she just kept pestering him, so he finally gave in. and she was the one who comforted him after his and leilani's break up, so she already knew her way to the boy.

ddot sighed as he drove off—hopefully mariah would take it lightly. leilani didn't even know that he was about to meet up with her. ddot just drove while playing some soft music, he needed to think hardly. was he gonna break it to her gently? or was he gonna rip the bandaid right off—he would need to think of a plan quickly, because the cafe was right around the corner.

CAFE
3:45PM

ddot walked inside the cafe as he saw how busy it was—he looked around to make sure mariah was there, and she was there sitting in a corner sipping her coffee. ddot sighed as he walked towards the girl, this wouldn't be a easy conversation, and he really wanted to avoid it. but the least he could do was tell her they couldn't be together anymore.

ddot walked over to mariah before he slid into the booth infront of her—mariah just watched his entire movements. she already knew what the boy was about to do based off the phone call he had with her earlier—but she wouldn't let him go that easily. "ddot." mariah said taking another sip of her coffee as ddot stared at her. he never really found the girl attractive, she was just...there.

"mariah." ddot said tilting his head while putting his hands together—he would just be blunt, no point in waisting both of their times trying to make up lies telling her how he had fun throughout the relationship. he was more so miserable, and it would be good for the both of them if the two went their separate ways. mariah really couldn't have been happy, ddot barely spoke to her.

"so what is it?" mariah asked spotting the brand new shoes ddot had on—"nice shoes." mariah said cutting the boy off as he was about to speak. ddot took a small glance at his shoes as he smiled stiffly. "thanks, leilani bought them." ddot said as mariah almost immediately went still hearing the girl's name. "leilani.." mariah whispered to herself, but ddot heard.

"but ima just get to the point." ddot said as mariah slumped down in her seat—she would've never saw this day coming. she was the only one who took care of the boy after his bad breakup, just for him to do her like this?

"we gotta breakup." ddot said as mariah's hands gripped the coffee mug infront of her. of course she was already expecting it, but to hear ddot actually say it broke her heart into a million pieces—mariah felt her eyes welling up with tears as her eye twitched a bit. "why.." mariah managed to mutter out as ddot sighed while shaking his head.

"you know why mariah, we shouldn't have even got together in the first place." ddot said as mariah slammed her hand onto the table and stood up causing everybody in the cafe to look at them—"you can't do this darrian!" mariah yelled loudly as people were starting to gossip to eachother. "i was the one who took care of you when you had nobody! i should be your wife by now!" mariah yelled with tears in her eyes. she felt pure rage that ddot could even think like this.

"mariah-no! you're mine darrian! we're supposed to have our own family!" mariah said full blown crying now as everybody was watching the two—"we're endgame! not you and that bitch!" mariah spat out as darrian stood up aswell. "don't be calling her no bitch mariah, and my mind already made up!" ddot yelled back as the whole restaurant was quiet at this point.

mariah just sat there with tears dropping down heavily before she grabbed her coffee mug and threw the coffee at ddot—thankfully the coffee was warmed down, but it wasn't fully warm. ddot just felt the coffee dripping down onto himself as he sucked his lips in. the whole restaurant gasped at the interaction, but ddot definitely felt that coming. he just looked up as he watched mariah storm out of the cafe.

"the fuck yall lookin at?" ddot asked everybody before he left out of the cafe—he quickly made his way to the car as he then got in. soon as he did he sat there for a moment as he felt the small burns on himself from the coffee. ddot would just have to clean himself up when he got home with a nice cold shower.

JIMENEZ RESIDENCE
4:00PM

ddot walked inside the house as he looked around—he saw leilani standing in the kitchen with music playing. but as soon as she saw ddot she gasped loudly before rushing over to him. "what happened.." leilani said worriedly as she quickly took ddot's shirt off. ddot just watched her as she examined the small burns on his chest.

"who did this?" leilani asked angrily as ddot let out a stiff laugh—leilani just looked up at the boy like he was crazy, he had red spots on his chest and he was laughing. "nothing is funny darrian seriously! who did this?!" leilani asked more serious this time as ddot just watched her.

he found it cute how leilani was all worried about him, he wasn't even worried about the burns anymore—"it don't matter, ima take a shower real quick ight?" ddot said as he was about to walk away, but leilani grabbed his arm quickly feeling the small sticky sensation of the coffee.

"let me clean you up." leilani said as she felt a pain in her chest—who would throw hot coffee on another person? leilani couldn't even think straight, she just wanted to hurt whoever did that to him. leilani led her and ddot to the bathroom that was just down the hall. the two made it inside as leilani cut on the shower—she made sure the water was semi-cold.

leilani sat ddot on the toilet as she searched for a med kit—"you don't have a first aid kit?" leilani said as ddot shook his head. "you ma first aid kit." ddot said admiring leilani, now that he was broken up with the girl—he could flirt and talk to leilani any kind of way. leilani looked up at ddot with her hand on her hips, the boy was flirting with her in a serious matter.

"ddot seriously, you have red burn marks on you and you're not being serious." leilani said before she crowched down—she couldn't even help him because she was feeling the rage building up inside her. why would somebody throw their coffee on the boy? leilani just wanted to fight at this point.

"who did it." leilani asked looking up at the boy as ddot watched her. he wasn't speaking at first, so leilani waved her hand in his face indicating for him to talk. "hello?" leilani asked in a duh tone as ddot sighed. "mariah." ddot said as leilani quickly stood up. she was about to open the bathroom door, but ddot pulled her arm sitting her down onto his lap.

"she not worth it." ddot said as leilani rolled her eyes—"i don't care, why would she throw her coffee on you darrian!" leilani said as her voice cracked a bit. she felt horrible, ddot had different red spots on his chest, and he was all sticky from the coffee. she couldn't stand the sight of the hurt boy.

"ma look at me." ddot said as leilani looked at him—he looked at her with reassurance all in his eyes. ddot wasn't tripping about the situation because he figured he deserved it. mariah was right about some parts, so he couldn't be too mad at the girl. "you're hurt darrian." leilani said as she ran her soft hands gently up and down darrian's chest feeling the different types of burns.

"ima be cool, ight? i'm good." ddot said as leilani looked at him—she didn't believe him not one bit, but she still was gonna clean him up and make sure he was good. "okay..let me clean you up." leilani said as ddot nodded. she then grabbed a rag from the shelf as she cut the sink on. she ran the rag through the cold water before she rung it out—leilani quickly put the cold rag on ddot's chest as he felt immediately relief.

"exactly." leilani said as ddot let out a small laugh—leilani just watched him with a small smile, even through hard times ddot always managed to put a smile on her face. and leilani quickly realized everything would be alright between the two, but of course she was still coming for mariah.
