"Anyone who doesn't support my reasoning can write my own name down in the negative. All I ask is that you don't make the mistake and regret by voting Rekka." Suzune stated.
"Hang on, Suzune! I see what you are getting at! But I can't go along with it." Sudo added. "I can't expel a friend!"
"I understand that you value your friends, but protecting one person means sacrificing someone else and that can be very harmful," Suzune explained and Sudo glanced at me. "That's why we need to approach this test not emotionally, but logically."
"Sorry...Haruki...but Rekka is someone I can't see hurt again..." Sudo mumbled stunning him.
"It appears the matter is settled," Koenji added.
"Hang on! This is so stupid!" Yamauchi yelled uselessly and looked at me.
I openedly smiled making it seem like I trust everyone to do the right thing, so I don't need to be afraid of him anymore. Really, I was just smirking at his suffering since it was beautiful and he recognised my smile as the same one I had when I called him a rat and let myself fall.
He knows he's been set up, but he can't prove it at all.
"Object all you want, but there's no one else here worthy of negative votes," Suzune stated.
"Say what you want! The others all promised to vote Rekka!" Yamauchi yelled. "You'd better keep your promise to Kikyo, okay?"
"That doesn't matter anymore! I won't!" Ike rejected.
"I take it back," Kushida added to save what little she could have her reputation at this moment. "I was wrong. I take back my request asking all of you to help me!"
"Hang on a minute, Kushida! This is freaking cruel!" Yamauchi complained.
"You are the cruel one! How could you betray your own classmates?!" Kushida yelled at him.
"You..." He froze seeing there was no one on his side and no way for him to deflect blame anymore.
"You have the lowest ability in this class. And you betrayed your comrades and tried to hurt one. I formed my opinion based on this." Suzune simplified it to remind everyone what he has done.
"Wait a minute, Horikita!" Hirata got up as I expected.
He had been quiet this whole time and kept glancing at me again and again in disbelief. He can't take the idea of someone suffering in any form it's obvious. That's why he's so kind to me especially compared to others since to him I am unaware of any suffering I experience.
"What is it, Hirata?" Suzune asked.
"I made the decision to let you finish speaking, but I'm opposed to how you are doing this," Hirata explained. "Tearing down your own comrades is wrong."
"This is the only way to do this. Rekka was unsure of her feelings and she hinted to me she needed help. I can't just let another classmate suffer." Suzune stated. "Have you not accepted that someone has to go?"
"I shouldn't have to accept it!" Hirata yelled. "I don't want to lose anybody!"
"Yeah! He's right!" Yamauchi yelled.
"But...why would you want him to stay? He tried to hurt everyone." I asked what everyone wanted to ask.
"Regardless of your feelings, I will fight in the way I believe is right," Suzune informed him. "I want to take a vote right now on who is going to put negative votes on Yamauchi."
"You can't do that!" Hirata argued.
"I'm going to begin." Suzune ignored him.
"Stop this right now, Horikita." Hirata hissed.
