"Okay.. now I'll shut my phone off for just a bit.." she said, obviously super nervous, Donghyuck noticed the nervousness from her, letting her take a small break from her phone, thinking of things they can do.
"Oh! I still haven't opened the gift yet." He brought up, Jia's eyes brightening, getting up to go grab the gift from Donghyuck's desk.
He heard her phone starting to blow up with many notifications as soon as she left, taking initiative to put her phone on do not disturb.
"I hope you like it, cuz I loveeee it." She smiled, walking back to the bed with the gift bag in her hand. "I'll love anything you get me." He held her by the waist, him sitting on the bed while she stood in between his legs.
"Sit here while I open it." He pat his lap, guiding her to sit down with his hands. She didn't fight him and instead followed what he told her to do, sitting down on one of his legs, one hand resting on the back of her lower back, while the other one held the gift bag.
