We got to our apartment and Elora rushed to the bathroom to pee.

I shook my head. "A millionth time." I smirked. Caleb laughed and we carried the shopping bags together. I sat down on the couch and I sighed.

"Oh my god! I'm exhausted. First we go do so many things and then...shopping and eating and visiting people in the hospital. Damn."

He sat next to me and brushed my hair aside.

"You're a goddess." He whispered. I looked at him and a small smile appeared on my face. "A goddess? Me?"

He nodded and smiled. "Yeah. You've done so many incredible things. In one day. And put up with me being horny so many times." I giggled and I kissed his hand.

"It's fun." I grinned. "Yeah?" I nodded.

"Do you remember when we were 13, and it was your grandma's funeral?" He asked. I nodded, looking at him. "What about it?"

"I remember that was the second time I kissed you. It was the most amazing kiss I'd ever have in my life." I giggled. "Really? I didn't even know how to kiss properly."

"You did it pretty well, baby." I chuckled and I placed my hand on his thigh.

"I hated that day." I said.

"Yeah, your grandma and the people around."

"No. It wasn't that." "Then?" I looked at him and I chuckled.

"It was sort of a time I had a little crush on you. But I knew I couldn't ever do anything about it."

"You had a crush on me?" He smiled so sweetly. I nodded. "Yeah, I did. It was the most romantic thing you ever did at that playground. And I liked you. But I thought I was just infatuated."

I smiled and I rubbed his thigh gently.

"You could've told me." He grinned. "I would. But Liam was there. And I thought you'd go back to what you used to do. Torment me so I let it go. Partly because I didn't want you into my chaotic world."

He frowned and squeezed my hand.

"It was my fault for what happened to you with Liam. But I am genuine about my feelings for you." "I know." I smiled and kissed his hand again.

"After you kissed me, I ran home. Dad took me back with mom and hurt me all over again. And I know at that time I did a good thing keeping you out of my life. I told you to stay away, Caleb. It wasn't because I hated you, I wanted to protect you from me."

"You're not a threat."

"Look at who I've become." I smiled. "You're not a threat to me."

I smiled a little and bit my lip. "I told Helga there was something suspicious about granny. She was her family so she gave permission for an autopsy."

"You did an autopsy? On granny?" I nodded.

"My suspicions were right. She was poisoned. Metal poisoning." I said, almost in a whisper.

He blinked. "Oh....did you know who did it?" I nodded.

"Dad."

"Your dad killed her?" "It's not surprising. My theory was that he dropped me off to her but when Helga took me away, he got pissed off for letting me off easily. So instead he'd have me in his grip, killing her off, sending me to the pit and doing his work."

He stared at me for a second and nodded. "I see."

"It's in the past now. They're both gone. But I know everything." I smiled.
