It was four days later when they were ready for their plan. They were going to charm the entrance to the Gryffinor common room. It would be a combination of spells that made them speak in riddles, it would dye their hair, and it would drop glitter on them.

They did have it to where it was going to wear off by the end of the day, but it was going to be fun.

Everyone woke up early and met on the second floor, left corridor. Each of them had a different spell they were going to perform and, for good measure, they were going to coat the floor in glitter paint.

They didn't use the whole group as that would be suspicious, but it was Regulus, Barty, Evan, Casie, Izzy, and Pandora. The rest wanted to go, but they were making sure that the professors didn't get to them.

They all wore black and made sure not to light their wands so that none of the paintings would wake up.

Their footsteps were quick and quiet as they walked through the halls. Cassie was in front and stopped them as she heard voices. "Oh, this is going to be so good!" James cheered and several voices laughed.

"Happy birthday, padfoot," three boys said at the same time.

"Thanks boys," Cassie could hear the smile in his voice and looked at her friends. "Go, I'll distract them." They nodded and Regulus took over leading them to the Gryffindor tower.

Cassie backed up and then purposely made her footsteps louder. She could hear the boys curse and start running in the opposite direction, away from the tower. She smirked and kept walking after them.

Suddenly, she heard a scoff, "really, Cassie?" Someone questioned from around her. She could hear the voice, but couldn't see the person, they weren't there.

They couldn't have mastered an invisibility spell yet, could they? They were incredibly difficult and hard to perform. She heard someone else cough, "Miss Black, go back to bed please." She rolled her eyes. It was a good imitation of a teacher, but it was obviously Remus.

"I would much rather stay here," she smirked in a quiet whisper. She just needed to keep them busy for another few minutes. They were going to use this hallway for their escape anyway. "You know, whoever you are, it's my birthday."

"Yes, Miss Black, now please head to bed." Cassie walked around, smirking at the air around her.

"I'm going to be married soon, maybe kids, maybe insane, do you think I'm going insane, I mean, I'm talking to the air," she sighed and spun around. "Maybe I'll be like Bellatrix and lose my mind after I get married and never have kids."

"That's an interesting thought, Miss Black, however, if you don't get to bed, I'll have to give you detention–"

"And risk giving yourself detention?" Cassie smirked. She knew the prefect's rotations. It was what came with being friends with prefects. She knew that prefects didn't have rounds at this time unless they had a reason to.

Remus scoffed, "i'm a teach–"

"And I'm sleeping with a werewolf," she crossed her arm. "Now we're both lying." Remus didn't say anything else and Cassie's younger brother grabbed her hand as they started running.

"Filch is coming," he told her quietly. There were a few secret passages they knew of to get back to the dungeons so they were back there in no time, thankfully being able to evade Filch.

"Did you guys get it done?" Cassie asked and they all nodded.

"Everything's set and ready," Pandora told her with a giant smile. She gave her a hug. "Happy Birthday."

"Yeah, Happy birthday, Cass," Izzy grinned and hugged her.

"I can't wait to see their faces," Barty laughed as they all walked into the Slytheirn common room.

"It'll be priceless," Evan guaranteed. They waved to the boys as the girls headed up the stairs to their dorms. They still had a few hours before they had to be up so they let Pandora crash with them until the morning.

The morning came and they were all very excited to see their prank and they were not disappointed.

When they entered the great hall, it was chaotic. Tons of Gryffindors, from first years to seventh years were running up to professors, asking for help. The teachers were only able to help so many people at a time and were getting overwhelmed.

Cassie snickered as they sat down at their table. Sirius marched up to their table with the rest of the marauders. "Undo it," Potter ordered and everyone glanced.

Ash laughed, "we don't know what you're talking about, we just got in here."

Sirius scoffed, "come off of it Parkinson, I don't want to be walking around in this all day."

Cassie raised her eyebrows, "why, because you've already had it on for hours?" Sirius closed his mouth, but didn't say a word.

"Listen, could you guys please just remove it?" Remus asked and Peter stood next to him nodding.

Izzy pretended to stop and thought about it, "yeah, okay, if you tell the other Gryffindors to stop hissing at first years."

James scoffed and crossed his arms, "they only do it because you guys are terrors."

Theo rolled his eyes, "you guys realize you're bullying children, right?" James looked like he was about to attack him, but Peter grabbed him.

"Come on guys," Sirius says, upset and they start walking away.

Cassie looked back to her food as she took out her wand, silently saying the counterspell and Sirius was back to normal. She could hear him cheer and his friends shout in protest about him being clean.

Aries gave her a look and she just shrugged her shoulders and went on to eat her breakfast.

Then, Aries thought about something, "I know why I've been avoiding Snape's accusations of Lupin, why have you?"

Cassie glanced over at him and everyone at the table started looking at each other, curiously. "I know, do you know?"

"I know what Cassie knows, what do you know?" Regulus asked his boyfriend, not taking his eyes off of him.

Ash narrowed his eyes, "what do you know."

"Wait," Den said, "how about we all say it at the same time, quietly."

They nodded and smushed together so no one else would hear them, "1–" Theo started counting. "2–3"

"He's a werewolf."
"He's gay."

Everyone looked at Evan, "What?"

Ash hit him with a book, "dude, that's not a secret!" Evan looked at him confused.

"It wasn't?" Everyone shook their heads and he looked embarrassed. "Werewolf?"

They all looked at each other and nodded. "So we all know," Regulus confirmed and they all nodded again. They all figured it out one way or another.

As most years, her birthday wasn't that special. It was just classes and homework.

That was until later that night when she was getting ready to go to bed. Izzy came in with a cupcake and a candle, "happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday day dear Cassie, happy birthday to you!" She sang and Cassie laughed before blowing out the candle.

"Where did you get this?" Cassie asked.

Izzy smiled at her, "your boyfriend went down to the kitchen while we were doing the prank and had the house elves make some." Cassie smiled to herself as she took the wrapping off and took a bite of the cupcake.

Izzy laughed as her best friend looked away. "I would date you if you were a boy."

"I would date you if I wasn't engaged," Cassie winked, making both girls laugh at one another.
