It had been a couple of days since Michael and Ness had recovered from their illnesses. Y/n sat at her desk, deep in thought, her fingers tapping lightly on the notebook in front of her. The pages were filled with detailed notes about Blue Lock, a program that intrigued and worried her in equal measure.
She had uncovered that Jinpachi Ego and Anri Teieri were the leaders of the program. Blue Lock started with 300 boys, putting them through a grueling series of trials and tests to prove their worth. Those who failed were eliminated from the competition.
"This program seems hardcore," she muttered, sighing as she sipped the tea in her cup. "Nothing our team can't handle, though."
She leaned back in her chair, stretching her arms above her head. As she did so, her gaze fell on the diamond rose necklace lying on the desk. A feeling of unease washed over her, but she couldn't deny that something about it drew her in. It had once belonged to her sister, and despite the negative associations, it held a certain sentimental value.
She remembered Michael's words from a couple of years ago: "It looks better on you anyway."
Fighting her inner conflict, she finally picked up the necklace and fastened it around her neck. It felt simultaneously right and wrong. Shaking off the feeling, she decided to get dressed. She put on a nice casual outfit and styled her hair a little before heading to the boys' room.
Forgetting to knock, she opened the door and was greeted by the sight of Michael shirtless. His tattooed, well-built body was on display, and she couldn't help but admire him. She walked over and hugged him from behind, feeling the warmth of his skin against hers.
"Morning," she murmured, pressing her cheek to his back.
"Morning," he replied, turning to wrap his arms around her. "You look nice."
"Thanks," she said, smiling up at him. "Where's Ness ? He's not here."
Michael shrugged, looking away. "I don't know. He was here earlier."
"I'm going to change into my jersey and practice a bit," he added, moving to grab his clothes.
"Okay," she said, watching him for a moment before leaving the room. As she walked down the hall, she wondered what to do next. Bored out of her mind, she considered wandering around the building. Her thoughts were interrupted when she passed by a familiar magenta-haired boy who was crying so hard his eyes were swollen.
"Alexis?" she called out, rushing to his side. She knelt down and placed a hand on his shoulder. "What's wrong? Talk to me."
Ness tried to speak, but his sobs made it difficult. Y/n rubbed his back, trying to calm him down. After a few moments, he managed to catch his breath and began to explain.
