"You think that I don't toss and turn at what I was forced to help you with? It's really rich coming from...you."

Y/n lay on the cold floor, tears streaming down her face, her body trembling with exhaustion and grief. It felt like her mind was slipping away, but suddenly she felt a strong grip on her shoulders shaking her back to reality. Her heart raced. Was this it? Had the wall finally consumed her? Was this the end?

She slowly opened her eyes, her vision blurred by the tears. Two figures hovered above her, their faces coming into focus. Loki and Yoshiko looked at her, their faces concerned . Relief flooded her chest, but it was quickly replaced by dullness.

Seeing them, Y/n immediately sat up and turned to Ness cradling his lifeless body close to her. Yoshiko's face was etched with concern as she hesitated before speaking.

"You know he's... uh," Yoshiko's voice trailed off, the words too sharp to say.

Y/n nodded slowly, her throat tightening. "The necklace... it killed him," she whispered, her voice hoarse. "I want to bring him with us, to give him a proper burial...if we ever get out of here."

Loki and Yoshiko exchanged a solemn glance and nodded in agreement. Y/n blinked rapidly, trying to hold back the fresh wave of tears threatening to spill over. She needed to stay strong for her own sanity.

"Have you seen the others? Isagi, Lavinho, Michael?" Y/n asked, her voice tinged with desperation.

Loki stepped forward, his expression serious. "I was originally dropped down here with Lavinho. We found the exit, but a wall separated us. He managed to get out, but I was trapped. I came back down and found her."

Y/n nodded in understanding . Every time they got close to escaping, something tore them apart. "Where was the exit when you first found it?" she asked, trying to focus on the next step.

Loki pointed forward in the shadows. "It was that way."

Y/n got to her feet, her legs shaky. She hoisted Ness's body onto her back, feeling the weight of his loss more than the physical burden. "Alright, I'm ready. Lead the way," she told Loki.

They moved as a unit, holding onto each other for support as they navigated the maze like area. The darkness was suffocating, but they pressed forward drawn by the faint slither of light ahead.

"There's a door to the right. We should try there," Y/n said, pointing to the dim outline of a door in the shadows.

Yoshiko hesitated, her worrisome expression evident even in the low light. "Y/n... she's in there," Yoshiko whispered, her voice still but full of detestation.
