"Antwan you be hiding" I said to Mani's husband as he walked into the living room, "My sister be making you hide?"
"Your sister give me a run for my money, but no. I be working, paying these bills" Mani busted out laughing before we looked at her
"He be at his homeboys house, they sit in each other ass. That's where he be at" I chuckled while shaking my head
"Oh, so all these men do the same thing?" I asked a rhetorical question, "Cute"
"I'm gone tell Flau'jae you talking about her" Twan laughed before I shrugged
"She literally do the same thing, be all in Kilo and Rocc them ass. I need to know what y'all be doing"
"Smoking and chilling" Twan responded with a slight shrug, "Doing men shit"
"But all the time though?" Mani asked while holding a confused look causing me to laugh
She just as confused as me.
"That's our quality time" he said before me and Mani looked at each other
"Y'all gay" I spat out before he laughed
"That's not gay"
"It is, why y'all spending quality time with y'all friends?" Mani asked tryna make it make sense, "Cause it's pussy at the house, so why?"
I busted out laughing as Antwan stood there speechless. She ain't have to say all that, I'm cracking up.
"Do we get mad when y'all spend too much time together?" he pointed between us
"Hold on now, we're sisters. If we wanna move in together, we can do that" I said before Mani agreed and he shook his head
"Can't nobody tell y'all nothing"
"Can't" Mani spat out before we high fived each other, "I think y'all men be forgetting that we run shit"
"Exactly" I mumbled as Flau'jae came walking in and Twan started laughing
"Don't get quiet now" he said before I laughed a little, "She in here talking shit and get quiet when you walk in"
"She can't fight, ain't nobody scared" Mani spat out before Flau'jae mugged her
"What y'all talking bout?"
"They said we gay cause we spend a lot of time with our friends. Then, they gone say we don't run shit"
"Twan you really be telling?" I asked before snickering, "I know not to tell you nothing else"
"I am gay, and we know who really running shit" Flau'jae spat out before cracking a smile
She's so irritating.
"You suppose to argue her down, Angel" Mani nudged me before I waved her off
"I'm not going back and forth with her. Can we go get food now?" I asked now starting to get impatient
"Come on"
We left out the house and got in the car. Originally, I was suppose to be getting breakfast with Mani, but plans changed.
Somehow, Flau'jae and Twan is with us.
"I know this might sound crazy, but can we turn the heat off. Can y'all turn on the air?" I broke the silence
"Air?" Antwan said from the driver seat
"Crack your window" Flau'jae tapped my leg before I sighed and cracked it
