Change is a good thing

I wake with a start,sitting up I realize I'm drenched in sweat and breathing a little heavy. I see Liam and Colton sit up from the corner of my eye. The urge to run is really strong and suddenly I can't sit still.
"I've got to get out of here" I say,a little breathless.
They both suddenly jump up and Liam grabs my hand pulling me up.
"Alright let's go" Liam says almost urgently. I look at him confused.
"What's the rush?" I ask.
"Sweetheart,no rush. It's just that you're going to be changing soon," Colton speaks up.
"Oh," is my intelligent answers.
"Are you ready,baby?" Liam questions. I nod. I don't know what's about to happen,but I know I need to get out of here. I feel jittery; almost like I've had to much caffeine.

I quickly slipped on a pair of shoes before my boys and I make it downstairs and out the door. Once outside we take off into the wooded area. After about ten minutes Liam and Colton come to a stop.
"This area will work fine" Liam says.
"For what?" I ask,suddenly scared.
"For you to change" Liam states.
"Do what? How?" I ask.
"Sweetheart,we will walk you through it" Colton speaks up. Okay Olivia. You can do this.
"Okay. How?" I mumble out.
"First. You need to strip down. We will turn around,until you feel comfortable." Liam says. I don't reply,so they turn around and I strip down. Once undressed I take a deep breath and wait; until I realize I need to say something.
"I'm undressed," I whisper.
"Okay baby,now close your eyes and just feel it. It should come naturally" Liam says. Closing my eyes,I try concentrate on becoming a wolf.
"No thinking. Feel," Colton says.

I close my eyes and start to feel my wolf. I'm no longer on two legs; I'm on four,and truthfully, it feels weird. Colton and Liam join me in their own wolf forms and we run. It feels free to run like this and I love it; like being myself but different. I can feel the power and strength my wolf holds and the strength I'm gaining. I can hear farther away, my eyesight is sharper, and all over, I just feel better.

We run for a long while before we make our way back to where we started. I watch as Colton and Liam change from wolf to human again. After they have their clothes back on, Liam speaks.
"Okay. Change back." Liam commands and both boys turn around.
I close my eyes and am back to two legs and it feel weird. I take a moment before realizing I still don't have my clothes on. I quickly get dressed.
"I'm dressed," I say once I'm finished. They both turn and I end up flinging myself at them.
"Mates," I say,surprising myself.
I look at them with shock clearly on my face, causing them to both chuckle and I growl, halting them.
"I'm sorry baby,all these feelings are new to you and we shouldn't laugh," Liam says. Colton doesn't say anything instead pulls me to him and hugs me tight. When he lets go Liam does the same.
"We need to head back," Liam says.
I just nod my head.

We run back to the house and Liam and Colton head to the office and to shower. When I'm done, I go downstairs to head outside; just to have some alone time.
I'm sitting in the back when Ashlynn and Jenny come out with the twins. The boys run off after a quick hi/bye. Ashlynn and Jenny each take a seat next to me.
"Are you doing alright dear? Ashlynn asks.
I look up and smile.
"I'm fine," I say.
"If you have any questions, we are more than happy to answer," Jenny says.
I nod. I really don't have any questions. It's a lot to take in,but I don't have any questions. We sit in silence for awhile before Ashlynn speaks.
"Now that you have changed,we will be taking the girl weekend soon. You'll also, along with your biological family, need to straighten out Sarah and find a suitable punishment. You will need to spend time with Jenny and I to get our routines down. Don't worry. It's not actually that much. We need to get the three of you through school,so the two boys can get started in a accelerated program and get their law degrees. You may choose a profession or to be a housewife,but these are things you can talk over with Colton and Liam." Ashlynn finishes and smiles.
"So how long until I have to go away?" I ask starting there.
"I would say two weeks," she answers.
"When will we start with schooling?" I ask.
"Well, it's an accelerated course here at home,and you'll be done in two months, so I think we will wait until after we have gone away. That will also give us time to get you situated in our roles,though you won't actually take over until Liam and Colton do." Ashlynn says.
I nod my agreement and she pats my leg before getting up. Jenny does the same and they take off in the direction of the twins.

I don't know how much longer I sit there before I hear the boys come out the door.
"Sweetheart,are you okay?" Colton asks concerned, sitting down next to me as Liam sits on the other side.
"I'm fine. Just taking a breather," I say smiling. Colton rubs my back and Liam takes my hand.
"We talked to dad,and set up a meeting with Andrew,Claire, Clayton and his mate,Emily, your dad's parents for first thing in the morning," Liam says.
"Sounds good" I reply.
