A New Beginning

Tobias POV
I sat down in the waiting room to the infirmary. Uriah came out to the waiting room.

"What happened?" I asked a little harsher than I meant

"The man we asked was Marcus. He shot her and she was gushing. I ran her here and called for Caleb before she blacked out." Uriah said

Then a nurse came out. I bolted up.

"She's fine. We had to remove the bullet but she's resting. She'll be awake soon. Oh and is Caleb here? She called for him before she blacked out." She said

"No. Caleb is dead." I said

"Oh. You better go see her. She should be waking up any second now." The nurse said

We walked into room where Tris was. Her heart monitor was steadily beeping. She was lying there with her eyes closed. Her thigh was wrapped up in bandages. The heart monitor started beating faster. Tris' eyes fluttered open. I saw a tear fall down her cheek. I wiped it away with the pad of my thumb. She looked at me and her face immediately lit up.

"I thought I-I lost you again." She said

Her hand rested on my cheek. I placed my hand on hers. A nurse came over and detached all the monitors from Tris. I helped her off the bed. She half limped out of the infirmary. I caught up to her.

"Why did you say Caleb's name before you blacked out?" I asked

"I saw him behind the nurse." She replied

Tris POV
I walked to the training room with Tobias by my side.

"Tris, what are you doing? You'll reopen the wound." Tobias said

I looked at him and smiled.

"I'm not training." I said walking over to the gun table. "I think it's time someone learned a lesson."

I loaded the gun and turned the safety on before putting it in my waistband.

"I'm coming with you. I'll get a group to come and watch from the roof." Tobias said

"Okay." I said. "I could agree to that."

We laughed and started walking. We were by the Pit when someone jumped on my back. I flipped them over. It was Zeke.

"Hello pansycake." Zeke said

"Hello wimp." I said back

"We need you for a special mission pansycake. Get Uriah, Christina and Shauna and meet in our apartment at midnight with loaded snipers and bulletproof vests." Tobias said

Zeke got up and ran away. We walked to our apartment. I picked up a device that Caleb gave me a day before he died. I used it to call Kate.

"Hello?" She said

"Kate, I need you to get an Erudite guard to go get Marcus. Tell the guard to bring Marcus to the faris wheel at midnight."

"Okay. Will do."

I hung up and placed the device in my bag.

"I got Kate to bring Marcus to the faris wheel. Our kill squad should be here in 10 minutes." I said

"Kill squad?" Tobias said as he laughed

There was a knock on the door. I opened it and let them in.

"What's the plan?" Zeke asked

"We are going to the faris wheel. An Erudite guard is bringing Marcus there. Zeke and Chris, you'll go to the roof to the right of the wheel.Shauna and Uriah, you'll go to the left side roof. Four will watch from the ground. As for me, I'll be on the ground in straight action. When Marcus gets there, I'll instruct the Erudite guard to leave." I explained

We waited until 11:45 to go to the wheel. We ran to the wheel and made it there by 11:58. I saw a blue blur.

"In position. Now." I whispered

The guard threw Marcus on the ground and left.

"Hello Marcus." I hissed

"Hello Beatrice." Marcus said

I flinched.

"My name is Tris." I hissed as I pointed my gun at him.

Marcus held his hands up.

"Beatrice, what are you doing?"

"This is for my parents, Caleb and everyone who died because of you. This is also for your son. Who you tormented and beat everyday until he left. I'm going to make sure it never happens again." I yelled before I shot him in the leg

"Tris! What are you doing?" Zeke hissed through my earpiece

Marcus got back up.

"Beatrice-" Marcus started

"DONT YOU DARE CALL ME THAT AFTER YOU KILLED MY FAMILY!" I yelled

"I NEVER KILLED YOUR FAMILY!"

"YES YOU DID. INDIRECTLY BUT THEY ARE STILL DEAD!"

"Tris!" Zeke hissed

"THE ONLY PERSON I EVER HURT WAS MY SON! I ADMIT TO THAT BUT I NEVER HURT OR KILLED ANYONE ELSE!"

"IVE WITNESSED THE DEATHS YOU CAUSED! IF YOU HAD GIVEN IT TO ERUDITE, NO ONE WOULDVE DIED! MY PARENTS WOULD BE ALIVE, CALEB WOULD BE ALIVE! ABNEGATION WOULD BE ALIVE!" I yelled through tears. "I think you have way too much blood on your hands."

I heard a gun load.

"Tris!-" Zeke said

I ripped the ear piece out of my ear.

"Put the gun down." Kate said

"I thought you were on my side."

"My name is not Kate. It's Jeanine."

She shot at me but missed. I put the earpiece back in.

"Four is gone!" Zeke whispered

I pulled out my second gun. I turned the safety off I pointed one gun at Marcus and the other at Jeanine. I heard gravel moving.

"Tris? What are you doing?" Evelyn asked

Tears flowed out of my eyes.

"You wouldn't understand Evelyn."

"I understand perfectly."

"NO YOU DONT! YOUR PARENTS AND BROTHER DIDNT DIE BECAUSE OF THESE TWO!"

"Tris, I understand. I lost my son to Marcus."

"You didn't lose him to Marcus. You left him."

"Either way, killing a leader and a criminal isn't gonna change anything."

I tightened my fingers around the triggers of the guns.

"Tris, stop."

"Tris, we have to leave now. Erudite guards on your 12." Zeke said

I shot Marcus and Jeanine in the leg and ran to the shadows.

"Zeke, pack it up. Get out of here." I whispered

I heard footsteps on the roof. They left. I walked out of the shadow with both of my guns pointed and ready to fire.

"Beatrice Prior, I demand you to stop."

"You don't order me around!" I yelled

"Beatrice Prior, I demand you to stop or we will fire."

I pointed one gun to my head.

"You don't understand what has happened to me in the past year. My life is close to a living hell." I said

"Beatrice, I know you're still angry about Caleb's dead but you can't go shooting up leaders."

I pulled my gun to my stomach and shot. I dropped to the ground. Two Erudite guards dragged me to Erudite.

I just saw insurgent... I know I'm late but oh well. It was a pretty awesome movie except for the fact that it was nothing like the book except for the major plot details.
