It took some time, but Dogday had eventually calmed down, "I... hate... this..." he groaned.
Catnap nodded as he looked away ad got off him, "Yeah, me too."
"We should get moving, who knows what kind of toys we attracted with the screaming," Nearic comments.
Dan nods, "Agreed, we should get moving."
Catnap then held out a paw, "Come on."
Dogday stared at his paw for a moment, before scoffing and taking it, the feline pulling him up, "Let's just get out of here before more of those tiny bastards show up," he muttered as he picked up his weapons.
The small family start walking back towards the cell they jumped down, but find it was locked during the skirmish, "Damnit," Dogday muttered.
Dan groaned and rubbed his face, "Where do we go now?"
Catnap looked around and spotted a small blue gate that led to a stairwell, a red hand scanner connected to it, "We go that way," he answered as he pointed to the gate.
The other three looked over and saw what Catnap was talking about, Dan nodded, "Good eye, cat."
The feline grumbled at the nickname before they approached the gate, Dan firing his red hand at the scanner. The gate opened and the brother passed through, Nearic glancing back to watch as his father slowly entered first, Catnap ensuring he doesn't hurt himself.
Nearic shakes his head, "I still don't know how these guys can fit through something so small while being so big."
Dan turns right before opening the door to the office, smiling as he looked around, "Alright, we're in."
"Finally!" Catnap shouted, making Nearic snicker.
The room wasn't in terrible shape, a few wires strewn about the ground, small bits of rubble in the corners of the room, a working computer to the center left of the room, a used whiteboard to the right of it, and a wood cutout of a rainbow mane lion toy ahead of them.
Dan arcs an eyebrow at the cutout, before side-eyeing his brother, "Pride lion?"
Nearic shrugged, wincing a little at the motion, "Maybe, but this place wasn't that accustomed to the idea yet."
Dan nodded before looking at the computer, "Yeah, good point."
Dan walks over and checks the screen, seeing it locked behind a PIN, "Huh."
Conner looks at his brother from the cutout, "What is it?"
Dan looked at the whiteboard, seeing a Huggy Wuggy hangman game on the board, along with a chart of numbers and letters, "The computer is locked, and it might be the only thing that'll get us to progress."
"Ah," his brother replies.
They hear a sigh of relief and look at the door, seeing Dogday crawling to the side before sitting down, his head barely touching the ceiling, "I'm just going to wait here for you to get that vault open, okay?"
Nearic smiles softly, "Alright," before looking back at the cutout, he hums before pressing the button.
"The name's Yarnaby!" the cutout says, the sound almost reminiscent of a goblin, "Would you... Warn-a-be my friend?"
Catnap groans from the doorway as he squeezes in, "That was terrible," he complains.
Dogday 'smirks' as he looks at him, "Suffer."
The feline sighs and lays down between Dan and Dogday, "Just hurry up."
Nearic presses the button again, "Press the button to brush my mane!" he does so, making the cutout voice out the action like a child.
