chapter - 8

Nandini run inside the college. She didn't
dared to even look behind. She just run
towards the classroom. Harshad's eyes
remind her of HIM . She was too much
afraid of Harshad. She was trembling with
fear. She entered in her classroom and
rushed to sit on Manik's seat.
"Agr Manik na ata tou? Kon bachata mjhy?" Nandini
thought.
Fab4 were already sitting there. They saw
Nandini sweating badly. They look at each
other surprisingly.
"Nandini..!!" Alya who was sitting with
Dhruv behind Nandini called her and placed
her hand on her shoulder.Nandini who was
still in that trance jerked her hand badly.
"Don't..!! Don't touch me.!!" She yelled and
Alya was stunned on her place same as the
other fab3. Suddenly Nandini realized her
mistake and she felt very embarrassed.She
immediately got up from her seat and came
towards Alya. She kneeled in front of her
and held her hands.
"Alya I am so sorry..!! I didn't meant to
shout on you.!! Actually..!! I..I..! I was in a
bad mental state please I am really
sorry..!!"Nandini said lowering her head.
And Alya being so kind heart made Nandini
stand up.
"Nandini it's ok..!! We all are with you..!!"
Alya said kindly and hugged Nandini. First
Nandini was taken aback with the hug then
she hugged her back. After so long
somebody had hugged her so lovingly. Her
eyes moisten. When they were hugging at
the same time Manik entered the classroom.
A wide smile appeared on his face. Alya
broke the hug and saw Nandini's eyes
moisten.
"Ya kya Nandini? Why are you crying?" Alya
said cupping her cheeks.
"Nothing it's just..!! Umm thank you..!!"
Nandini said giving a weak smile.
"No need..!! You can consider us as your
friends..!!" Cabir said from behind and all of
them nodded. Meanwhile Manik came there
and everyone look at him. Nandini quietly
sat on her seat.
"Tu kahan tha?" Cabir asked raising his
eyebrow.
"Main Alya kay bhai ko smjha raha tha...!!"
Manik said in a little high pitch sitting on the
table.
"Before you tell us the matter..!! I am sorry
in advance..!!" Alya said in
an apologetic tone.
"Alya baby come on..!! Don't say sorry on
his behalf..!! Don't get embarrass on his
deeds...!!" Manik said in a reassuring tone. "I
know how to deal with him..!!"
"He is a jackass...!!" Cabir said laughingly
and all joined him except Nandini. Then the
topic of discussion changed between Fab5
and Nandini was sitting quietly. At last the
period bell rang and Manik sat beside
Nandini.
"Manik..!! Thanks..!!" Nandini said in a low
tone and Manik just hummed. He was
following the advice of his love guru..!!
His Mom..!! "Ignore her"
"Manik I said thanks..!!" Nandini said in a
surprised tone.
"And I said hmmm..!!" Manik said coldly.
"You should be saying your welcome..!!"
Nandini said angrily. "Don't you have
manners?"
"Wohoo..!! Look who's talking? Do you have
manners Nandini? I am nothing to you na?
Then? Why are talking to me?" Manik again
said coldly. Nandini wanted to say
something but hearing Manik's words she
stopped.
"He is right Nandini..!! You yourself pushed him
away..! Now what? You stupid dumb girl..!! Why are
you feeling so hurt? You have to bear this..! He is
a human for how long will he tolerate your rude
behavior..!! But what to do with this heart? Oh
God..!!" Nandini was thinking all this and she
felt like crying. Manik's behavior was very
difficult for her to bear. During the whole
class Manik completely ignored her. Nandini
was holding her tears back. As soon as the
class over Nandini rushed out of the
classroom. And Manik became worried.
"What happened to her?" Alya asked
worriedly.
"It's all my fault..!!" Manik said ruffling his
hair.
"What? Your fault?" Mukti asked in a
surprised tone.
"Ab kya kar diya tu nay?" Cabir asked
worriedly.
"Buddy tu bhi na..!!" Dhruv said in a
dismay.
"Guys stop it..!! Mom told me that if I'll
ignore her she will give me importance..!!"
Manik said making a face.
"Manik tu mjy itna bewakoof tou nahi lagta
tha..!!" Cabir said rubbing his forehead.
"Right..!! Manik can't you see? She is tired of
this ignorance thing..!! It felt like that there
is no one to take care of her..!! She is in
pain Manik..!! Although she is saying kay she
don't care about you but eventually she
does..!!" Alya said a soft tone and all
nodded.
"Ab ignore mat karen usy..!!" Mukti said
tapping his shoulder.
"Yes if you really want to be with her na
then don't do this..!!" Dhruv said and
all nodded.
"Ok...!!" Manik said. Now he was worried for
Nandini. What if she would be crying? "Ummm
guys I'll be back..!!" Manik run behind her.

Nandini came out of the classroom she was
running aimlessly in the corridor.
"Why you came Manik? When I had got control on
my tears then why? Why your presence making me
so weak? I had promised myself before coming to
this college that I'll stay away from Manik..!! Yai
tou chahti the tu Nandini kay Manik door rahay
tujh say..! Then why are you sad? It's better for him
that he stay away..!! You can't do this to
him..!!" She was thinking all this while
running when she banged into someone.
Her eyes were fill with tears. She look at the
person in front of her and she gasped with
horror. HARSHAD .
"Woohoo..!! Look who's here? Manik ki
girlfriend..!! Why are you crying
baby? Don't tell me Manik ditched you?"
Harshad said mockingly. Nandini gathered
some courage.
"Get out of my way Harshad...!!" Nandini
said and tried to walk but Harshad stopped
her.
"Wait a second beauty..!! Look main tmhy
Manik say ziada pyaar doon ga..! Just be
with me..!!" Saying that he held her hand.
But what Nandini did next was not
according to Harshad's expectations. She
slapped him hard on his face.
"This is my answer..!!" She shouted. Harshad
was standing in a shock he left her hand.
Nandini was about to walk away
when Harshad held her waist. He was now
fuming with anger.
"How dare you?" Harshad barked. "How
dare you to slap me..!! You bloody bit**..!!"
"Leave me Harshad..!!" Nandini's all courage
flew away. She was struggling to came out of
his grip. Those eyes were same like HIM. "No..!!
Not again..!! Please no..!!" Nandini shouted.
"Let me go please..!!" Nandini yelled but
Harshad's grip was very strong.
"Ohh what happened now? Are you
scared? You have slapped me na? Now you
have to pay for this..!!" He smiled evilly. And
started dragging her in an empty classroom.
To Nandini's bad luck no one was in the
corridor.
"Please leave me..! Let me go..!!" Nandini
shouted. It seems like past was repeating itself
once again. She was being dragged in the room once
again. She was crying for help but no one was
there.
"I won't beauty..!!" Harshad barked and
throw Nandini on the floor. "Payback
time..!"
"Please somebody help..!! Manik...!!
Manik..!!" She started shouting.
"Haaahh..!! Manik is not coming to save
you..!!" Harhsad said and started moving
towards Nandini. She crawled backwards on
the floor.
"Please Harshad no..!! Please..!!" Nandini
begged. Once again she was begging and no was
there to listen to her pleadings. Harshad fisted
his hands in Nandini's hair and made her
stand. She shrieked in pain.
"Beg for your life..!! But I won't spare
you..!!" Harshad barked and again throw
Nandini on the floor. He came on top of
her.She tried her best to push him away.
"Maaannniikkk...!!" She again yelled on top
of her voice. And Harshad laugh
hysterically. He leaned closer to Nandini to
kiss her she turned her face and closed her
eyes. Suddenly she felt herself relieved as
Harshad was no more on top of her. There
stands the savior Manik.
