Chapter - 46

"Bahu..! Ya larki kon hai? Is kay ghar waly
sab?"Dadi asked to Nayonika drinking the
glass of water.
"Maa ji..! Wo Murthy's hain
na? Manglore waly..! Un ki behan
hai..!"Nayonika said obediently.
"Acha..! Mjy tou ajeeb c he lagi..!"Dadi said
in an annoyed tone.
"Nahi Maa ji..! Bohat pyari bachi hai..! Bohat
he tameez wali..! Ap jab us ko jaan lain ge
na tou ap ko bhi achi lagy ge..!"Nayonika
said forcing a smile on her face
and Dadi gave her a whatever look.
Nayonika was about to say something
when...
"Manik..! Kaminay kahan mar gya hai? Teri
shadi kay honay wali hai tu tou sharmili
larki ban kay ghar baith gya hai..!"Cabir
shouted in his all time cheerful voice. Fab4
and thakars just came to meet Manik and
Nandini but to their bad luck Dadi was there
and they didn't knew it. Cabir was about to
shout more when his eyes fell on Dadi who
was giving him a very disgusting look. Dadi
always hated Manik's friends. Cabir gulped
the lump in his throat. Fab5 were scared of
only one person in the whole world and that
was DADI..! All tried to hide behind Cabir
and he showed Dadi his teeth. Nayonika
palmed her face because she knew what was
coming.
"Hello Dadi..!"Cabir tried to act cheerful
and Dadi gave him a deadly glare in
response. Suddenly Manik and Nandini too
came. All look at MaNan and hide behind
them.
"Manik..! Apny awara dostoon ko smjha
do..! Kay mery samny ya gandi zubaan
istamaal karny ki zarorat nahi hai..! Jaoa
bahar garden main lay jaoa in ko..! Mery
say tmhry dost bardasht nahi hoty..!"Dadi
said in an annoyed tone.
"G Dadi..!"Manik nodded and all run outside
as if they had saw a ghost. Nayonika sighed
in relief.
"Maa ji aye na main ap ko ap ka kamra
dikha doon..!"Nayonika said obediently.

"Salay tu bta nahi skta tha kay teri Dadi I
hue hai..!"Cabir said angrily as all were
sitting on the grass in Garden.
"Aur hum awara hain..!"Mukti shouted
looking at Abhimanyu who took her in a
side hug to console her.
"Aur hum Dadi ko bardasht nahi hoty..!"Alya
said sadly and hugged Dhruv.
"Guys guys..! Chill you know my Dadi..! Wo
aise he hain..! Tum loog bhi na insano ki
trha baat tou kar he nahi skty..!"Manik said
calmly and Nandini laughed.
"Haan haan tum tou haso ge he..! Insult tou
hmari hue hai na..!"Navya said sadly and
Cabir consoled her.
"Relax guys..! Dadi ko me bhi kuch khaas
pasand nahi I..! but I will win her
heart..!"Nandini said smilingly,resting her
head on Manik's shoulder and Manik
smiled,wrapping his arm around her
shoulders.
"Yaar teri Hitler Dadi say na mjhy bohat dar
lagta hai..! Remember last time..! God she
was so annoying..! Jab hum party kar ray
thy..! She broke all our wine bottles..!"Cabir
said angrily as he very well remembered
that Dadi had broken all their wine bottles.
It was the most expensive wine and because
of Dadi all went wasted.
"Chill is bari aisa kuch bhi nahi ho ga..! Hum
sab mil kar un ko handle kar lain
gay..!"Manik said smilingly and all nodded.
"Acha shadi ka kya plan hai..!"Navya asked
and then they started discussing about
marriage. They kept talking and talking
until Nayonika came. She saw all couples
sitting cozily in each other arms. She saw
MaNan and smiled. Nandini was in Manik's
lap and was playing with his fingers,her
eyes were closed ,while he was engrossed in
conversing with his friends. Nayonika
walked towards them and bent over Manik's
ear.
"Is she sleeping?"Nayonika whispered in
Manik's ear. Manik look at Nandini and
Nandini opened her eyes.
"I am awake Mom..!"Nandini said softly.
"Oh acha come with me..! Kuch kaam
hai..!"Nayonika said to Nandini and she
nodded. Nayonika walked back inside.
"All the best..!"Manik said lovingly and
Nandini too followed Nayonika.
"Nandini tum ya doodh ka glass Maa
ji kay room main day aoa..! I want kay Dadi
par tmhra acha sa impression
pary..!"Nayonika said lovingly.
"G Mom..! Main day aoan ge..!"Nandini said
obediently and picked up the milk glass
from the kitchen table. She walked out of the
kitchen towards Dadi's room.
"Ab tou Dadi mj say zaroor khush ho jayen
ge..!"Nandini thought happily. She reached
Dadi's room and knocked the door.
"Kon..!"She heard Dadi's voice.
"Dadi main Nandini..!!"Nandini spoke trying
her best to overcome her fear. And suddenly
the door banged open.
"Kya baat hai?"Dadi asked in a strict voice.
"Wo.! Main..! I came to give you this milk
glass..! Mom nay bola..!"Nandini fumbled.
"Sab say pehli baat meri samny aainda
ya angrezi me baat krny ki zarorat nahi
hai..! Aur ya doodh wapas lay jaoa..! Bahu
ko bolo kay wo khud lay kar
aye..! Mjhy tmhry hath say kuch nahi
chye..!"Dadi said in an ice cold tone and
Nandini was trembling with fear.
"Par Dadi..! Main bhi tou ap ki bahu he
hoon..! Ap kay potay ki honay wali
biwi..!!"Nandini said in a trembling voice.
"Ab tum mjhy btaoa ge kay mera kis say kya
rishta hai..!"Dadi shouted angrily and
pushed Nandini's hand away the milk glass
fell on Nandini. Meanwhile Manik, Rishab
and Preeti came inside the house as Manik's
friends left and Preeti,Rishab came to meet
Dadi. Manik witnessed the whole scenario
and run towards Nandini.
"Dadi..!"Manik shouted and hide Nandini's
behind him. Dadi frowned meanwhile
Rishab,Nayonika and Preeti too came. "Myny
apni Nandini ko dantny ka haq kise ko nahi
diya hai..!"Manik said angrily.
"Tou is larki ko bhi samjhaoa kay mjhy
smjhny ki zarorat nahi hai..!"Dadi too
replied in the same angry tone.
"Kya kiya us ny? Sirf ya he bola
na kay is ghr ki bahu hai haan hai wo is
ghar ki bahu..! Dadi ap isy meri dhamki
samjhain ya kuch aur par agy say ap
Nandini ko kuch bhi nahi kahain ge..!"Manik
said in an ice cold tone and dragged Nandini
with him towards the outhouse.
"Mrs.Malhotra..! Nandini sirf meri behan he
nahi hai..! Myny baap ban kay pala hai us
ko..! Is kisam ki humiliation main bardasht
nahi kar skta..!"Rishab said to Nayonika and
she made a pleading face.
"Rishab bachy hain..! It's ok..! Maa ji..! Ya
Rishab Murthy hain aur ya un ki wife
Preeti..!"Nayonika changed the topic. Dadi
look at Rishab and Preeti. Rishab was in
causal kurta salwar while Preeti was in
Saree. Dadi gave them a satisfactory nod.
"Namasty..!"Rishab and Preeti said together
and bent down to touch Dadi's feet.
"Jeety raho..!"Dadi said politely. "Sada
suhagan raho..!" Dadi blessed Preeti and she
smiled.
"Chalain..! Ab shadi kay bary main baat kar
laity hain..!"Nayonika said and all sat to
discuss the matters.
