Chapter - 64

Manik gestured his friends to keep an eye on
everything as he sat in mandap. Mandap was
arranged extraordinary beautiful...!

And the Greek God sitting in the center of
the Mandap around the fire was looking so
royal types in his skin sherwani..!

He looked around and saw Dadi talking with
some ladies..! He was noticing her each and
every move but Mr.Perfect who thought that
he had everything under control was highly
mistaken..! He saw Nandini stepping over on
the Mandap smiled seeing her hesitantly
coming towards him to which he smiled
wearing a red lehenga and long shirt..! the
red color was perfectly complimenting her
skin..!
Girls helped her to sit beside Manik.
"Tum kise country ki queen lag rahi
ho..!"Manik whispered in her ear huskily..
"Mr.Malhotra main kise country ki nahi
ap kay dil ki queen hoon..!"Nandini too
whispered naughtily.
"Acha ji?"Manik asked playfully.
"Haan Ji..!"Nandini too said in same tone.
Then they both kept quiet as the mantras of
wedding started although the Manik was
fully cooperating with Nandini in rituals but
still his eyes were on Dadi moreover
Abhimanyu,Cabir and Dhruv were also
roaming here and there too. Then Rishab
and Preeti did the kanyadaan..! Then
gathbandhan was done by Nayonika and
MaNan got up for pheraas..! All were busy in
throwing flowers on MaNan when they took
the seven vows..!
"Navya..! Mandap ready hai shadi karo
ge..!"Suddenly Cabir whispered in Navya's
ear and she went all crimson. Abhi and
Dhruv who were keeping an eye on
everything witnessed it..!
"Baad main romance kar laina abhi
chal..!"Abhi said angrily and dragged Cabir
away by pulling his ear. The finally vows
were done which MaNan swear to fulfill till
death..! Then Manik filled her maang with
Vermilion and hung the nuptial chain in her
neck..! Manik was fully concentrated on
making her wear the chain while Nandini
was staring at him with all love after
completing the last task Manik look at her
and raised his eyebrow to ask what? But she
shook her head smilingly. Finally..! Like
Finally Vivah saphal hua..! Now it was the
time for the blessings from the elders..!
Manik got up and helped Nandini too. Then
holding hands they took the blessing from
the elders at the last they stood in front of
Dadi and bent down to take blessings..! For
Nandini's shock Dadi placed her hand on
Nandini's head too..! Manik was too shocked
he look at his friends they nodded in
assurance..! At last everything was ok..! All
were having their food but still Manik was
not satisfied..! MaNan were sitting on the
same table and having their dinner when
suddenly a waiter came and stumbled near
Nandini the cold drink he was holding in his
hand spilled over Nandini's bridal dress.
She clinged to Manik with a sudden jerk and
he unconsciously held her close..
"Are you blind?"Manik shouted angrily.
"Sorry Mam..! Sorry Sir..!"He said
worriedly.
"Manik..! Calm down..!"Nandini said angrily
to Manik. "It's ok bhaiya g..! ap jaoa..!"She
said politely to waiter and he noddingly left.
"Baby tum theek ho na?"Manik asked wiping
her dress with tissue.
"My possessive monster kuch nahi
hua..!"Nandini said smilingly. "Main isy saaf
kar kay aati hoon..!"She said casually.
"Main chalta hoon tmhry sath..!"Manik said
worriedly.
"Come on Manik have your dinner I will be
back in no time..!"Nandini said pushing
Manik on the seat again. Manik bit his lower
lip and saw her walking towards bridal
room's lobby until she vanished..! Manik's
anxiety was crossing it's limits..!

Nandini cleaned her dress in the bathroom
and came out..! She look herself in the wall
size mirror of the bridal room. Tonight will
be the most beautiful night ever..! She
blushed on her own thoughts and smiled..!
She was about to turn when she saw Dadi's
reflection in the mirror..! She immediately
turned and Dadi smiled at her.
"Dadi..! Ap?"Nandini asked hesitantly.
"Haan main..! Asal main me na tmhy akhri
baar milnay I the..!"Dadi said smilingly.
"Akhri baar? Ap kahen ja rahy ho?"Nandini
asked innocently and Dadi laughed
sarcastically.
"Main nahi..! Tum ja rahi ho..!"Dadi said in a
furious tone and before Nandini could
register anything Dadi went out of the bridal
room and locked it from outside. Nandini
run to open the door but it was locked.
Suddenly she noticed a spark in near
switchboard and the spark immediately hit
the curtains of the room and here started the
fire.
"No..! No..! Maniikkk...!"Nandini shouted but
the glass door was too much thick for Manik
to listen her screams. She banged the door as
much as she can but the bridal room was far
away from the main hall..! The only fear was
in her heart was if she will die here then her
promise which she had made with Manik will
be broken forever..! And the Promise was to
always be with him..! ALWAYS..! She
searched for her cell phone but damn she left
it on the table in the hall..!
"Aiyaappa..!"She screamed..! "I can't die like
this..! Manikkk..!"She again shouted..!

"Manik..! Dadi ko dekh..!"Cabir said pointing
towards Dadi who was cleaning the sweat
from her face and Manik look at her.
"Shakal tou aisy banai hai Dadi nay jaisy kise
ka murder kar k aa rahi hoon..!"Abhi said
laughingly and all joined him when suddenly
the same thing at a time hit their brains..!
"Nandini..!"All boys and Girls shouted
panicly. All started looking at them while
Dadi gulped her saliva. All run towards the
bridal area and elders followed them Dadi
too..! Manik's breath stuck in his throat as he
noticed the fire flames in the room..!
"Nandini..!"Manik shouted hysterically and
was about to go close to the bridal room
when Dadi blocked his way.
"Pagal ho gye ho?"She yelled worriedly.
"Dadi rasty say hath jayen..!"Manik
shouted..!
"Nahi..! Main tmhy us larky kay peechy
marny nahi doon ge marny do usy..!"She
yelled.
"Dadi..! Agr wo larki mar gai na tou main bhi
aj us kay sath he mar jaoan ga..!"Manik
shouted furiously. Cabir,Dhruv and
Abhimanyu held Rishab back while girls
were holding Preeti..!
"Main tmhy aisy nahi jany doon ge..!"Dadi
was seemed to be a satki hue aurat..! Manik
pushed her away and tried to touch the lock
of the door it was burning..! It burnt his
fingers badly but who cares..! He picked up a
steel rod lying nearby and broke the lock
with it..! As soon as he kicked the door open
the flames of fire pushed him back..!
"Manik meri jaan careful..!"Nayonika
shouted worriedly..! Manik determinedly
folded his sleeves and after taking a deep
breath he jumped inside the room..! The
room was so big..! Each and everything was
burning..! Too much smoke..! Damn..!
"Nandini..!"Manik shouted as he can't
find her..! Suddenly he got her glimpse lying
lifeless on the floor and he thought his heart
will explode..! He rushed towards her and
saw flames of fire trying to touch her..! He
immediately picked her up she was not
injured but was not opening her eyes..!
Manik rushed outside and all run towards
him..! Manik placed her on the floor and
patted her cheeks.
"Nandu..! Baby..! Please..! Please meri jaan
ankhain kholo na..!"Manik pleaded patting
her cheeks but no response..! All were
crying..! Everyone..! Manik's tears were too
falling off his eyes..! He held her hand and
noticed a white paper fisted in her fingers...!
He pulled out the paper from her fingers and
after reading it he burst out in tears again..!
The note was:
"Manik..! I love you so much..! Agr aj mjy
kuch ho gya na tou ya mat smjhna kay myny
tmhra sath choor diya..! I will be always
with you..! Your angel..!"
"Ap hmri zindagi say chali q nahi
jati..!"Suddenly Manik shouted on Dadi..!
And she was shocked on her place.."Ap aur
ap k bety nay kabhi koi khushi nahi di Mom
aur mjy..! You always made our life worst
and miserable..! Ap q mjy khush nahi rehny
daite? Myny bola tha ap say Dadi..! Bola tha
k meri nandini say door rahen par ap ko tou
kuch smjhy he nahi ata hai..! Kon si dunya
say hain ap?"He yelled on top of his voice
and Nayonika too stood beside Manik.
"Maa ji..! Ap any aur Malhotra ji ny jo bhi
kiya myny chup chaap saha..! Par mery bety
ki khusiyaan cheen'ny ka haq myny kise ko
nahi diya..! Chali jayen ap yaha
say..!"Nayonika too shouted and Dadi backed
off..! She walked away and Manik again
knelt beside Nandini..! He gathered her in
his arms and started sobbing loudly..
"I am sorry..! Main kuch theek nahi kar
paya..! I am so sorry..! Please wapas aa
jaoa..!"He said between his sobs and
suddenly Nandini coughed..! Manik's
heartbeat became fast..! He broke the hug
and suddenly all run to get water..!
"Nandini..!"Manik said adjusting her in his
arms..
"Ma-mani..!"She murmured softly and slowly
opened her eyes..Cabir came with water..!
"Water..!"Manik said worriedly and made
her drink a little water but she coughed
again..! Manik sighed in relief and hugged
her tightly. She was coughing and Manik
rubbed her back.
"You scared the shit out of me..!"Manik
whispered in her ear and she smiled weakly.
"Sorry..! Just relax..! I am ok..!"She
whispered softly and ruffled his hair. Manik
closed his eyes in relief how much he love it
when she ruffle his hair..! Thanks Aiyappa
Nandini ko wapas dainy k liye I can't live
without her..! Then all hugged Nandini one
by one all were worried for her..! She was
looking for Dadi but she was nowhere..! She
wanted to talk to Dadi but she was not here
and she knew if she will say this to Manik he
will became angry..!
