EPILOGUE

Eight months old Mandini pulled her
Daddy's thick hair oncce again rolling on his
wide back who was sleeping like
KumbhKaran totally unaware of the world!
Nandini came out of the bathroom rubbing
her hair with a towel and shook her head as
she saw Mandini trying to wake her daddy
up..
"Mando..! Let your Dada sleep baby! He is
very tired..!"Nandini scolded the little one
and picked her up..!
Suddenly Mandini screamed in a irritated
voice as all her attempts failed to wake up
her Papa dearest and Manik got up with a
jerk.
"What happened to my princess?"He too
shouted and snatched Mandini from
Nandini's arms. That's how the duo were!
Manik was a perfect Dad never mind how
much tired he was but his daughter's one
scream and he was out of his Kumbh
Karan's sleep in a second..
"Bus..! Dada is up..! Sorry I slept..!"Manik
was patting his princess who was now
clinged to him and he put the pacifier in her
mouth..!
"Manik..! Give her to me! You
sleep..!"Nandini said softly and Manik shook
his head..
"Aray..! It's ok..! My fault it's weekend and I
am sleeping I am supposed to spend time
with you both!"He said in an apologetic tone
and Nandini smiled..
"Manik..! Come on! It's ok..! You work whole
week for us you deserve to sleep on
weekend at least..!"She said softly and he sat
on the bed with Mandini..!
"You just get me a cup of coffee..!
Aj Papa and Princess will play
together..!"Manik said pecking Mandini's
forehead and she gave him a toothless smile
which was adorable for him..! He crazily
kissed his princess and she giggled as he
Manik's slight grown beard tickled her..!
Nandini left Papa Daughter in their own
world and went to get coffee for Manik.
After 15 minutes she came back and sighed
helplessly as she saw Mandini sleeping over
Manik's chest he too was sleeping resting his
back with the bed board.
She placed the coffee aside and
walked closer to them. She ruffled Manik's
hair and pecked his forehead..! He worked
whole week music, office and family! He was
looking so tired..
"Manik..!"She whispered his name and he
opened his eyes sleepily. "Give Mandini to
me! You sleep properly or else you will hurt
your back..!"She said softly and again tried
to take Mandini..
"Nah..! Don't take her away..! I am ok..!"He
whispered back and he laid properly on the
bed with Mandini now shifted on his arm.
Nandini smiled..! Manik always tried to
compensate the whole week when he
neglected Mandini due to his work..! She
covered the duo with the blanket and
adjusted the curtains so the sun rays don't
disturb the beauty sleep of the love of her
life..!

"Where are my kids?"Nayonika asked as
Nandini came down the lounge..
"Both are again sleeping! Mandini just
wanted Manik's attention so she woke him
up and then slept again..!"Nandini told
Nayonika and she laughed..
"She is so adorable..! Thank you for this gift
Nandini..!"Nayonika was really very
peaceful..
"Mom..! Please..! No..! I love
you..!"Nandini said hugging her. Then both
Mother and Daughter in law gossiped about
everything. It's been more than two hours
when...
"Nandu! Mandini is hungry..!"She heard
Manik's shout and she run to her room..!
Mandini was crying for Nandini and Manik
was trying to pacify her..
"Alay alay..! Mama ka baby is
hungry!"Nandini said lovingly and took her
from Manik's arms to feed her. Manik laid
on his stomach and watched Nandini
feeding his baby. Life can't be more better?
After sometime Mandini's little tummy was
full..! She smiled and Nandini was kissing
her madly.
"You know I love you so much!"Manik said
to Nandini and she look at him. She smiled
and laid beside him with Mandini in middle.
"I know! And I love you too..!"Nandini said
smiling at him all the time and Manik look
at Mandini..
"Princess..! Papa loves you!"He whispered in
Mandini's ear and she stroked his cheek
with her tiny palms. Manik held her little
palms in his big ones and kissed them. "Both
of you are my loves! I love you both!"He
spoke and gathered both of them in his
arms..
And they Lived Happily Ever After...

sadly! But sometimes ending is worth..!
