I try to ignore the cameras which are flashing and recording around me as I stare at my boyfriend's face. Did he really just propose to me? How can he just propose to me like that, he was supposed to lay hints down before doing this!

I am physically and mentally not prepared for this at all and the worst part is that he's drunk. If Gerry wakes up in the morning and realises what he's done then he will regret it for the rest of his time with me. I should do the thing which I should have done when he first got drunk.

Going towards him I take the ring out of his finger easily and help him up onto his feet.

"Shows over people!" I yell loudly while keeping my eyes on Gerry.

The last thing I want to see is Mr Peace giving me a miserable look. All of the women in the restaurant sigh in defeat out loud. I'm sorry people but I didn't want a show like this to happen. Gerry however seems to be out of it because he leans his entire weight onto me.

Signalling the waiter over he tells me how much the dinner cost, I make Gerry sit down on his chair and go through my purse for the money. Handing the exact amount to him he disappears.

"We going home?" Gerry asks me like a little child making me smile a little.

"Yes we are, let's go big boy" He gets up stumbling a little on his feet.

I quickly put my arm around his waist again, taking a step forward I find myself struggling to walk because of Gerry's weight on me. I didn't know he was this heavy until now.

"Let me help you" The same waiter comes back to my other side and puts Gerry's arm around his shoulders.

"Thank you so much" I give him a smile as he helps me lead Gerry out of the restaurant.

I catch a few looks of the people on the table to see they are giving me a few sad looks. I guess they feel sorry for me- forget them. I know that I can't forget Mr Peace though; I can just feel his burning gaze on me as I leave the restaurant.

He's going to hate me even more. He'll probably give me the speech saying 'what if everybody knew you were my personal assistant, do you know how embarrassing and revolting that would have been for me?'

I know we are outside from the wind blowing my hair in different directions, a strand falls in between my mouth and I can't take it out because of Gerry- great.

"Where is your car?" The waiter asks me.

"It's straight ahead of us" I inform him pointing to Gerry's black car.

I had taken Gerry's keys out when I was going through my bag for the bill so I have it in my hand. Pressing the unlock button down the car flashes indicating it's unlocked. The waiter leans forward and opens the passenger door.

Moving to the other side I let the waiter put Gerry into the car. He moves away as we both watch Gerry with his eyes closed against the seat.

"You need help with anything else?" He asks me with a raised eyebrow.

"No. Thanks so much again" I say.

He gives me a small smile and runs a hand through his long locks before leaving me and Gerry alone. Looking back at Gerry he hasn't moved. I might as well adjust him in properly; going towards him I put his seatbelt on and make sure his legs are tucked in properly as well.

I need to find a carrier bag in case he vomits everywhere. Putting one knee on his seat I lean forward on his body to look at the back of the car to see if there's a spare bag around...there's one! Getting out I open the back doors and grab hold of the bag.
