“Miss you may now leave but you will be brought in for some questioning”

“Thank you officer” Getting up from the cold uncomfortable steel chair I stand up and tuck it in following the officer’s footsteps.

After they put me in the police car they un cuffed me and said that I wouldn’t get arrested unless I did something illegal.

“Mr Peace said he would like a word with you before you leave” The officer tells me making me stop in my tracks. “Just go through the door and he’ll be waiting for you” Following the officers commands I walked through the door and to where he said Mr Peace would be.

Right now I’m too exhausted to show or think of any hatred towards this man.

“Sofie Koenraad” The voice boomed loudly in the room making me jump a little. Turning around to locate the voice I see Mr Peace standing at the far end of the room with a piece of plain paper in his hand from where I could see it. He started to walk towards me without looking at me, focusing his gaze on that piece of paper. “Who the bloody hell are you?” He shifts his gaze up from the piece of paper and held mine captivated to his. I hate this man, but he has an effect on me that I can’t even explain.

“Excuse me?”

“Again with making me repeat the questions, your looks sure do betray you” He scrunches the piece of paper in his hands and chucks it somewhere in the room but I don’t know where he threw it because I was just concentrating on his face. “Let me repeat the question, who the hell are you?”

“I…I um…I’m…me” I say in the simplest way.

He rolls his eyes like he normally does and leans against the wall.

“I don’t understand the question” I tell him. He smirks to himself and looks down onto the floors concentrating at the same time.

“No wonder you don’t get a job anywhere….how did you know about that man? Did you stalk him as well?” He asked me with full amusement. I had to urge to shout at him but something inside me managed to bring it back down.

“No I knew him, he was someone very close to me and my family” There was no point in lying to Mr Peace because I’m pretty sure he heard everything I told the officer so even if I did lie to him I would probably get screwed over.

“Interesting….why do you hate him?” He asks me.

“I’m sorry Mr Peace but I can’t answer your questions” I tell him.

He looks at me with a raised eyebrow and starts to slowly walk towards me until he’s only centre meters away.

“I’m sorry but what did you just say?” He asks.

It sounds like he was warning me, giving me a slight push to the right direction instead of the wrong.

“I said I’m sorry Mr Peace but I can’t answer your questions” A gasp leaves my throat as he grips both of my arms in his hands pulling me towards him with a  scowl on his face.

“Repeat it one, more, time” He repeats the words slowly into my hair as I try not to flinch from the pain he is causing me.

What is his problem, I’ve told him everything he wants to know, I just don’t feel comfortable letting him on this information.

“It’s too personal” I chock out.

He suddenly pushes me away from him making me have to hold onto the wall for support. Moving my hair out of my eyes I see him running a hand through his hair.

“You….you are so infuriating it’s preposterous”

“I think I should go” Before he could even say anything I ran towards the door and quickly left the room as fast as I could.
