Chapter forty-seven

Rina slowly opened her eyes and felt pain all over her body. Her eyes readjusted to the lighting and she felt completely confused. She tried to regain her memory and when she finally remembered what happened she hurriedly rose up from the bed she was laying down on. It was soft and comfortable, she started wondering where she was.

She glanced around the room. It was huge and the furniture looked expensive. She wondered who kidnapped her, she wondered why they took her in. She slowly got up and looked outside the window, the sun was already setting. That means that she had been asleep for more that eight hours. She looked out of the window again and realized that she was 5 stories high from the ground. 'So much for trying to jump out of the window to escape', she thought.

Suddenly, the door burst open and a guy she didn't want to see stood in front of her. "Trying to escape already?" He said as he entered and placed the tray of food on the bed.

"What do you want from me?" She coldly asked and glared at him not moving an inch from where she stood.

"I miss you, m'loves." He confessed and stepped closer to her. For every step he made towards her, she stepped back until she felt the wall against her back. "Are you scared of me?" He whispered desperately.

Tears started to form in Rina's eyes when she remembered the night he took advantage of her. She felt a shiver of disgust rushed through her spine and she felt sick in her stomach. "You're a monster." She spat out.

"I know you didn't mean that, m'love." He said reaching out to touch her shoulder but Rina flinched away from him and pushed herself away. She was now behind him and when he turned around to face her, she saw the anger starting to bubble up in his eyes.

"Don't.Ever.Touch.Me." She said glaring at him. Andrew suddenly grabbed both of her shoulders and Rina felt the pain coursing through her arms. "Let go of me." She whispered.

"No! Never again, Rina! You are mine, you belong to me! I am never letting you go ever again!" He yelled at her which made her tears leaked from her eyes. "No one can ever separate us! Not even that bastard of a brother of yours. Because you are MINE!"

"Please Andrew, you're hurting me." She begged as his eyes changed into a darker color that showed danger and fearlessness. He was shooting daggers at her and he was squishing her shoulders to the point that Rina could no longer feel it. "Please let go." She pleaded and that seemed to snapped Andrew from his craziness. His eyes changed back to their color and his gripped on her shoulders loosened.

"I'm sorry." He apologized sincerely and rubbed her shoulder soothingly but Rina still couldn't feel it. "I'm really sorry, m'loves. I didn't mean to hurt you. I'm really sorry." He finally said and made his way out of the door leaving Rina devastated. She laid back on the bed and cried her heart out wishing that Steven was there with her.

"How long does it take to find my daughter?! It's been a whole day already yet you still don't know where she is!" John yelled at the police officers at their house. Right at the moment, the whole family was under police protection. Wherever they go, they were guarded by them.

"Hon, just relax. They'll find her soon enough." Daphne assured him and rubbed the back of her husband soothingly.

The whole crew was also at their house. They were also under police protection because of what had happened to Steven. Everyone who was close to Rina were all kept in their house to keep them secured.

Ryder was boiling mad and all he wanted to do was to go out and try to find his twin himself. The police were too slow and he couldn't just sit and wait for something to happen. Unfortunately, he was not allowed to get out. Whenever he tried to escape, an officer would just bring him back inside.

"I can't wait anymore. What if something happens to her? Will they pay for my daughter's life?!" He screamed in frustration and Daphne couldn't help but let out a sob just thinking that their daughter's life was in danger. Ever since their youngest daughter died, they had been extra protective of their children. They tried everything in their power to protect them from anything that could harm them. They couldn't afford to lose another child because they knew that it would drive them both crazy.

"This is exactly why I didn't want her to come back! I knew something like this would happen!" John roared and went upstairs to go up to their room shutting the door closed.

Ryder approached her mother and pulled her into a hug. She cried on his chest as he rubbed her shoulder soothingly. "We'll find her, mom. I'll find her." He promised her. Andrea stared at them and couldn't help but feel upset. She really wishes that they find Rina soon.

Suddenly, her phone rang and she went to the kitchen. She looked at the caller ID and it just said 'Private Number'. Out of curiosity, she answered the phone and she wished she hadn't.

"Andrea Carson." The low, dangerous voice said over the phone.

"Who's this?" She questioned with furrowed eyebrows.

"Are there any police officers around you?" The person asked and Andrea then realized that it was probably the person who kidnapped Rina.

"Who are you and why are you calling me?" Andrea asked furiously.

"Don't be so loud now." He hushed her. "I have a proposal for you. But I need you to promise me to not tell anyone about this." He said but Andrea didn't reply. She was debating whether to tell the police or not. A smart person would probably go and inform the police but Andrea didn't know if she should.

"What do you want?" She finally replied.

"You... in exchange for Rina." The person said dangerously that sent a shiver to run down her spine. She didn't know what he wanted. She didn't even know why he wanted her. "I will bring her back. Give her back to her family. But as a condition, you have to follow everything I say."

"What would happen if I say no?" She asked in fear.

"I'll make sure that Ryder doesn't come back alive after the championship race." He threatened and Andrea was completely terrified. She then knew who she was talking with. It was no other than Jason Alfonso. And he wanted to kill Ryder.
