~~~Chapter 21~~~

The day passed quickly. People asked me where I was, if I was okay and things like that all day and by lunch I was fed up with it. I ended up shouting at lunch in a packed cafeteria that I was fine, and I went to visit family because I was having issues with someone... well as you can imagine that earned me a growl which I gave back gladly and included a glare at Bella.

At the end of the day I jumped into Rosalie's convertible and grabbed my sunglasses and put some headphones on.

I looked around the lot seeing all the males watching me with lust and want in their eyes. It made me feel incredibly sick.

I heard some boys say they were going to come ask me to Prom. I quickly grabbed my phone and called Alec.

"Elizabeth?What's wrong?" his worried voice came through the speaker.

"I wouldn't call if it wasn't important but some boys are about to come ask me out and they are the popular lot. If they know I have a boyfriend then by tomorrow morning so will the rest of the school..."I said vampire speed getting straight to the point.

"Oh okay..." he said to me.

I sensed the boys behind me.

"Sorry babe, I'll be a minute....." I said to Alec and then I turned around. " Can I help you?"

I saw Ben, George and Steve. They hung around with me and Lily a lot, when they weren't playing football. 

"We were wondering, if you would go to Prom with one of us..." Steve asked.

"Or all of us, we could show you a fun time..." George added.

I gagged.

"Sorry boys, but I have a boyfriend," I told them trying not to laugh at their faces.

"Really?Who?" Ben asked angry while Steve and George cracked their knuckles.

"Here..."I said putting the phone on loud speaker.

"Babe your on loud speaker..." I told Alec lovingly while smirking at the boys in front of me.

"Leave my girlfriend alone!" Alec's voice shouted "You will not be taking her to Prom...any of you and you will certainly not be showing her 'a fun time' any time soon, that's my job! And if any of you lay a finger on her I will rip you to shreds!"

The boys faces looked like they had been slapped. it was priceless and if my phone wasn't in use I would have totally taken a photo of them... I am happy I have a great memory! I put the phone back to normal and shooed the boys away. They ran of quickly, scared of Alec.

"Thanks Babe," I said into the phone.

"Why didn't you tell me you had a Prom?" he asked sounding sad.

"I didn't want to put pressure on you to take me if you were busy,"I explained.

"When is it?" he asked.

"In about a month...why?"

"I'm going to take you," he said hanging up.

I pulled the phone away from my ear and looked at in a mixture of shock and happiness.

"Are you okay?" I heard a soft voice ask from next to Rose's car. I turned to see...Bella.

"I was...until now....what do you want?" I asked coldly.

"To introduce myself...I'm Bella Swan, your Edwards little sister?"

"I already know, I don't care and yes I am his spoilt and shameful little sister..." I told her and put my ear plugs back in turning the music up to full volume effectively cutting her off.
