Chapter 40- 'Happy Endings'

*skip time when Hope is 6 months old*

Normal POV

"Mary come on daddy's gonna be home soon" I shouted to her in the bath

"Okay mummy"

Then Hope started crying

"Shhh shhh come on" I sighed

"Girls I'm home" I heard Dean shout

"Hey hey now what's these tears for" Dean said taking Hope from me

"Shhh shhh"

"Where's the other one?" He asked

"In the bath she hasn't got out yet she's been in there for an hour" I sighed

"Mary Winchester get your butt out that bath now before I come up and get you" he shouted up

"Okay" she said

Hope stopped crying and he placed her in her basket

"Hey baby" he said kissing my forehead

"Hey I missed you" I told him

"I missed you too 2 weeks was too long" he sighed

"Tell me about it" I laughed kissing him

"DADDY" Mary shouted

"There's my other princess" he said picking her up

"Were you good for mummy?" He asked

"Sometimes" she mumbled

"Sometimes? You need to be good for mummy all the time" he said

"Sorry mummy" she sighed

"It's ok sweetheart" I said kissing her head

"Right go brush your teeth I'll be up in two minutes" Dean said putting her down and she ran upstairs

"I'll sort Hope out if you go sort Mary out she missed you" I smiled at him

"Okay" he smiled

I woke up around 1am to Hope crying I got out of bed to check on her i saw Dean standing in there with her

"I'll get her bottle" then I reached to the bottom of the stairs I saw Dean asleep with Mary on the sofa

"No" I muttered to myself and ran back upstairs into Hope's room

He turned round

"What are you doing here?" I asked

Dean POV

I heard a scream from upstairs waking me and Mary up I ran up into Hope's room to nothing I breathed with relief

"Scared me baby" I smiled down at the crib then my fear happened I saw blood drip from the ceiling I looked up and saw Morgan on the roof dead and her go up in flames

"NO" I shouted I picked Hope up

"Mary" I shouted

"Listen take Hope to uncle Sam's as fast as you can ok go" she went off with her

"I ran back in the room"

"Please Morgan no!"

Then I got snapped out of it

"Dean come on!" Sam said pulling me

"SAM SHES IN THERE"

"Dean it's too late come on" he said pulling me out just as we got outside the house blew up

"No" I fell to the ground sobbing

......

"Dean I'm sorry but she can't come back this time" Cas sighed

"I AM GOING TO KILL THAT SON OF A BITCH"

"Dean we don't even know what it was!" Sam said

"You and I both know!"

"Dean that's not possible look just calm down right now it's gonna be ok we have arrangements to make first but you will get closure Dean I promise"

"Daddy?" I heard the voice

"Hey baby come here" I stood up and went over to where she was and crouched down to her level

"daddy why are you sad? Where is mummy?"

"Baby remember I told you that my mummy and daddy and your great uncle Bobby had to go be with the Angels?" I said my voice breaking I saw a tear falling from Sam's face

"Yeah" she said

"Well mummy had to to be with the Angels too that's where she is she's with grandma,grandpa,uncle bobby and your sister" I said letting a tear fall

"But why did she not love me anymore?" She asked crying

"Hey you listen to me she loved you more than anything this is nothing to do with you. You hear me? This had nothing to do with her not loving you because she loves you and your sister very much so don't you blame yourself" I said sternly

"Don't you blame yourself either daddy" she started to cry more

"I want my mummy" she said running off crying I sighed

"I will go watch them Dean" Jess said to me

"Thank you"

I broke down

"This is all my fault" I cried sitting on the sofa

"Dean no it's not." Sam said

"Sam I should have known better! It was 6 months mark" I cried

"Dean you didn't know" Sam stated hugging me

"They're growing up without a mother Sam" I sobbed

"It's ok"

"I better go check on Mary" I said after a while going upstairs

"Hey baby" I said going into the room she was in with Dean, Sam coming up behind me I saw Dean hugging Mary I smiled at Sam he smiled back

I walked in and crouched down in front of them

"You're a good boy you know that" I said to Dean

"I don't want her to be upset" he said

"Come here buddy" I said hugging him

"You wanna come sleep with me tonight baby?" I asked Mary

She nodded

"Come on" I said picking her up taking her to the room I was in I sat her on the bed I was never going to sleep I took a deep breath I had to hold it together for her

"Daddy?" She said

"Yeah sweetheart?"

"Will mummy keep the monsters away from us?" She asked my heart broke

"Yeah she will she'll always protect you princess" I said letting a few tears fall

"Mummy loved you daddy" Mary said hugging me

"I love you so much baby" I told Mary kissing her head
