When the queen awoke, she was laying down on a comfortable surface and looking up at a blood-red ceiling. She looked around, confused.
Where am I? She asked herself. Sitting up slowly, she let her eyes travel around the room she was in. The walls were black, and there was hardly any furniture. Aside from the bed she was in, the only other piece of furniture she saw was a desk and a lamp.
She lowered her feet to the floor and stood up slowly. As soon as her feet touched the ground, ice quickly spread beneath them. She gasped and leaped backwards, staring at the ice-covered floor where she once stood.
What the heck...? She thought. What's happening?
"Ah, I see that you're finally awake," a deep voice came from the ornate doorway.
Elsa looked over to find a tall figure, dressed in long black robes, standing there and grinning at her, revealing rows of pointed teeth.
"Who are you?" She asked him. "Where am I?"
The man chuckled at her and responded calmly, "You are in my home, my queen."
Queen?
"And I must say, I've waited quite some time for you to awaken... Nearly 400 years, in fact."
400 years? No. That couldn't be true. There was just no way...
"I don't believe you," she said.
"Come, let's get you out of these clothes and into something a little more... Regal, shall I say?"
The man took her hand in his own and led her down the hall to another darkly decorated room. There, he reached into a drawer and pulled out a long, black, glittering gown. With a wave of his hand, the gown went from being in his grasp to replacing the previous dress she had been wearing. She looked down at it in awe.
"It's... It's beautiful," she whispered.
"As are you, my love," he said, coming near her and pressing his lips against her neck gently.
As soon as his lips made contact with her skin, the memories came rushing back to her.
