Henrietta was shivering. She was cold. Silvia got a piece of napkin and swept Henrietta's face.

"Let's go Henrietta. Leave the rest to me. I'll take care of it."
Silvia held Henrietta's hand and started walking towards the classroom. But, Silvia felt that Henrietta was standing still. She didn't move.

"What happened, Henrietta? Are you okay?"

Henrietta didn't answer. Silvia noticed that there was slim line if blood bleeding from the back of her head.

"Oh! Your neck is bleeding. Let me see."

She put her hand on Henrietta's neck and just then, Henrietta again fainted and fall on her. Silvia anyhow balanced.

"Anyone here? I need help!", Silvia shouted.

Henrietta opened her eyes. Where was she? Was she dead? There was an uncommon smell of something. There was beeping of something. Was it the ICT lab of her school?

"Henrietta, can you hear me?"

She tried to figure out who it could be. Silvia or McKenzie? Has McKenzie returned to beat her again?

"Mom! Oust McKenzie out! Please, mom! I beg you!"

"What happened Henrietta? I'm mom. Can't you recognize me?"

Henrietta again closed her eyes. She couldn't understand how mom reached at her school.

"Good morning, Mrs. Meredith. How's your daughter?", the doctor walked in.

"Morning, doctor. Henrietta isn't responding. She screamed for help right now. I think she has been traumatized."

"It could be. Severely physical injuries. But, don't worry. We will get it right. Okay?"

"Okay. Thanks doctor. By the way, do I need to file a case for this?"

"You may not. Because, McKenzie Francia is saying that firstly Henrietta abused her. Then, for self protection, she threw Henrietta away. So, what can be in your favor?"

"Yeah, I know. Thanks a lot doctor for your kind suggestion. Well, when she will regain conscience?"

"I assume in a half hour. I'll be checking. Okay, see you then."

Mom smiled and bid him goodbye.

Looking at the brown bruises on Henrietta's white face, mom felt pain in her heart. She did a grave mistake. She sent Henrietta to highschool without her wish and will. This type of destruction was bound to happen.

Mom held her hands. Pairs of red and blue pipes coming out of her veins and arteries.

"I'm sorry.", mom repented.

"Why I am in everyone's target?", Henrietta whispered.

Mom was shocked. What did she say?

"
standing in front of me
even though i can't see
can wound me entirely
can be done easily

why am i everyone's target
why am i in every bet
i know i have to be strong
but this feels so wrong

making fun of me
even though i can't see
can break my heart
is this just the start

why am i everyone's target
why am i in every bet
i know i have to be strong
but this feels so wrong

kissing in front of me
even though i can't see
upsets me
tempts me

why am i everyone's target
why am i in every bet
i know i have to be strong
but this feels so wrong

why am i everyone's target
why am i in every bet
it feels so bad
tired of getting sad
just tired of getting sad."

Mom sighed. All her grievances were coming from the core of her heart. Mom wondered why there were too many pain in this world.

"Doctor! Doctor!", mom shouted. She wanted the doctor to see how Henrietta had been.

"Mrs. Meredith. Is there any problem?"

"Henrietta was just talking."

"Really, what did she say?"

"She actually, umm, sang a song. Maybe she's having hallucinations."

"Most probably. Okay, I'll push her a medicine. Its a bit strong but would help her to get well soon."

Doctor brought out a syringe from the drawer. He set the needle on it and pushed.

Henrietta's face was entangled.

"Mommy, it hurts! Mommy!"

Mrs. Meredith almost jumped. Henrietta used to talk like this addressing her 'mommy' when she was real small.

She couldn't resist more. She left the room and ran towards the balcony.

The day was dark. It was raining. Small drops of waters from the sky fall on her face. She was blaming herself. As if she was wholely responsible for the disasters that happened to Henrietta.

But she wasn't. It was the beginning of the struggle of Henrietta. Nor she, neither Henrietta knew that time, that in a very near future, Henrietta would have to live without mom.
