The police reached the school campus. With due rights, they searched the whole building including every restroom, every lab, every classroom and the staircases. At last after an hour expedition, they found Silvia locked in the washroom on the third floor. The person or persons who have locked her there, was cruel enough to disconnect the electricity connection and water supply.

Being there confined for seven hours, Silvia was thirsty and hungry. The washroom had been too hot for one to stay as the offenders had switched on the heater with high temperature. Silvia was sweating too much. She was dehydrated as well.

When the police broke the door and got in, there were only smoke. It had been too clumsy and smoky for the running water heater. They wrapped Silvia in a fresh piece of cloth and soon sent her to the nearby hospital.

Silvia's statement in the hospital:

I was going home. The school broke and I was going to inform Mrs. Meredith about Henrietta's punishment and how'd she be late. I took stairs instead of the elevator as it was full. When, I reached the third floor, which is the elementary section, I spilt some greese on my hand and proceeded towards the washroom to wash it. But, as I reach the basin, I felt someone pulled me hard. Before I could look back, he or she held me strongly by my shirt collar and threw me into another washroom and locked it from the outside. I was too astonished to scream even.

I knocked and banged the door too many times. But, the section was totally empty so none heard me. That's all I knew, officer. Thank you.
"You are thanked too, Silvia Brown Emerson. Your statement was helpful to investigate the case.", the officer said standing up from the metal chair kept besides Silvia's bed.

At the home:

Henrietta was crying with her face pushed into mom's lap. She was blaming herself for all that happened to Silvia.

"Baby, I can't understand why you're blaming yourself. What did you do here?", mom said impatiently.

"Mom! All this started because of me. Nor I have done violence in school, neither have Silvia protested, she wouldn't be locked in the washroom. I know, its only because of me."

"Henrietta! You didn't know anything. Do you? Do you even know that McKenzie locked her because Silvia protested?"

"I do! Only McKenzie can do this! Else wise, all likes Silvia. They're not gonna harm her anyhow."

"Okay. We'll try to resolve the matter tomorrow. Try to sleep. I am here.", mom tried not to drag this conversation more as she was not going to be convinced anyhow that she wasn't at the fault, nor she was to be blamed or repent. She was being stubborn.

Mom sighed. Henrietta was very lonely, beyond she perceived. Lonely children were always stubborn. They never wanted to hear anything but their own decision. They were absolutely rigid in their point of view. And, unfortunately, mom had nothing to do with this.

Did she make a mistake? Was it a wrong decision to send Henrietta to highschool though she didn't want to. But, what could have been done else! Mom wanted to see Henrietta shine bright like a diamond being graduated and highly educated, continuing to proceed though millions of obstacles. But, maybe it was too early to think this. Henrietta was only fifteen and half. Girls of her age, only started to think about their futures. None of them ever had taken the decision how to succeed in life. Mood in this age kept changing. At this phase, burdening own decision on Henrietta's shoulder was sick, absolutely sick!

"I'm sorry!", mom apologized, sobbing again. Would it stop once? Would there be any light in the darkened life of Henrietta? Was there be any angel with the lamp of happiness and brightness in hand?

They didn't know. There was going to be something musing. Something, that would scream in the ears of Henrietta saying, "Don't give up! Live like there's no tomorrow.". And, she would.
Who was this angel going to be? Michael?

A/N: Sorry friends, this chapter is short. But I promise to give away some prizes to you in the next chapter. Good days of Henrietta will start soon, from chapter 12.
