The car was driving fast. Henrietta was feeling cold. Her hands were cut deep because of the rope. She smelled a blunt freshener. She wanted to move but couldn't. She was feeling hydrated. It has been a long time since she ate. She wanted to talk to the man who was sitting by her side. She wanted to ask who he was and why he was abducting her. She was getting more and more anxious thinking about Silvia and Michael. What got her heart beat missed was thinking about mom. Mom wasn't very contented about this trip. She didn't say anything but Henrietta felt it. She didn't want to imagine how mom would react when Silvia and Michael would let her know about this.

She started counting one, two, three.... When she counted till thousands, the car stopped. The man besides her got out of the car and came to her side. He opened the door and got her on his shoulder again. The man got out and Henrietta felt tropical breeze. Maybe they were near the beach. Henrietta sighed, she was supposed to come here with them who were now crying for her. She scarcely knew that Silvia and Michael didn't have the situation to even worry for her.

The man walked for few minutes. Henrietta was feeling hot now. Her head has been now covered with a huge hood. They soon reached somewhere. The man entered there, it seemed a cottage to Henrietta by hearing the husky noise of dried flakes of paddy.

The door creaked open and they got in. And Henrietta was expecting a throw that she got while boarding the car. But instead the man kept her on a husky couch and for the first time he talked which reached in her ear as a portion of poison, "Wait till I get your father."

Henrietta was shocked. Father? She tried to console herself thinking that it was an idiom. She thought that her father was in Alaska. He couldn't come here. Or if he did, he wouldn't have kidnapped her. She lays on her stomach and keeps waiting.

After a several minutes, a man walked with. Henrietta understood from footsteps that the previous man was there too. They stopped in front of her. A man with a coercive voice ordered the previous man to uncover her. So did the man.

"Beautiful. I still remember how she looked in childhood." The man said.

"Are you sure this is the girl?" Asked the previous man.

"Certainly, I can't but forget my own daughter." The man replied. Thousands of lightening seemed to strike Henrietta by their awe. She was shocked. What did the man say? His daughter? Was she hearing it wrong?

"Sir, I'm glad that you found her."

"Yes, Jonathan. I'm glad that I found her and I can now make my moves."

Jonathan laughed and left the room. The seemed-to-be father of Henrietta, came closer to Henrietta and started running his fingers through her hair.

Henrietta felt uncomfortable and said, "Please don't touch me, first tell !e who you are?"

The man sighed," Dear, I'm your own father."

"You must be joking, my father is underworld."

"That's sort of funny, who told you so?"

"Mom told me." She was answering coldly.

"Huh! Your mom has always been a liar jerk."

Henrietta jumped with fierce, "How dare you to tell me that mom is a liar and jerk? Who the hell you are?"

"Baby, believe me. I'm your own father. I left you because I, I was in dilemma. But, I did try to bring you back to me. But your mom didn't let me so."

"I'm not going to believe so easily that you're my father. Prove it."

"Okay. I will. Give me a minute." The guy walked out the cottage.

Henrietta leaned against the wall and closed her eyes. She was too stressed. She was mentally so disturbed, thinking what should she do if this was really her father? Could it be? She always cherished a father, but when her father is introducing himself to her she's just getting away. She thought this was a compote situation of disarray. She sighed, tears rolled down her cheeks.

Michael first gained conscience. He sat on the ground and pushed his head with fingers which turned dark red in few moments. Cringing his face with severe pain that turned his back of the head in a lump of flesh almost, his eyes fell on Silvia. He tolerated the pain tremendously and crawled toward her. She was still unconscious. Michael tried to wake her up. A few moments later, she opened her eyes.

"M m Michael. Where am I?" She said slowly.

"Silvia, we're on the road. They tried to kill us." Michael said hardly, his voice was vague.

"Who tried to kill us?" She couldn't recall, she was traumatized.

"Those creeps who kidnapped Henrietta!"

Silvia's eyes turned round and extreme fear mixed with anger was expressed through them.

"Michael, couldn't we save her?" She started sobbing.

"I'm sorry. Its all my fault. Now just try to get up. We need to call her mom right now."

Michael tried hard and got up. He stretched his hands toward Silvia to pick her up. She had less injuries than Michael, but what she had wasn't negligible.

"Try to walk with me, Silvia. We need to reach our car."

Both of them walked to the car. They were still bleeding. Silvia was breathing heavily. Michael was feeling suffocated, as if twenty pounds of stone had been burdened on his chest. He fell on the seat like a timbered tree and tried to become stable. Silvia also got on the car, she was searching for her phone which was actually on the road.

Fortunately, Michael found Henrietta's phone on the back seat. He picked it up and threw a fake smile to Silvia. She bursted into tears. Henrietta's phone was here, but she wasn't.

Michael was switching on the blackberry plugging it to the car charger. In the meantime, Silvia put out a scarf from the handbag and tried to stop bleeding of Michael's.

"Thank you Silvia. Love you."

"Love you too. Now don't talk and call Mrs. Meredith."

Michael switched on the phone and found 48 missed calls from Mrs. Meredith. Silvia also saw it. They were nervous thinking how Mrs. Meredith would react. Michael dialed her trembling.

The phone was picked with few dials.

"Henrietta! You didn't do it right! I've been calling you for fifty times. You got me so worried." Mrs. Meredith was almost screaming.

"Mrs. Meredith, its me, Michael." He tried to keep calm.

After a few seconds silence, she resumed," Good morning dear, I want to talk to Henrietta. Can you hand over the phone please if you don't mind?"

Michael tried to control his emotion as much as possible, "Mrs. Meredith. Henrietta isn't here."

Mrs. Meredith again paused. Then stammering she asked, "Where she is?"

Silvia held her breath as Michael made Mrs. Meredith hear the bad news, "Henrietta has been kidnapped."

They expected a huge scream or yelling, but they didn't. After a few seconds, they heard cries. Mrs. Meredith was sobbing badly. She couldn't resist. She was crying all her heart out which brought tears again to their eyes.

"Hello, Mrs. Meredith, please calm down. Look, we will.." He paused. She declined the phone.

Michael looked at Silvia, "Call the police."
