**JANE'S POV**
It's been so long since I've seen Roxanne, and I can't put in to words how much I miss her. She was like my other half. With the exception of my work and her rehearsals, we were always together.
I regret coming off as a snooty smart-ass. I really hope she doesn't think of me that way. I hope she's okay.
Over the past month, I've been re-falling in love with Queen in honor of Roxanne's devotion to them. I've decided Brian is my favorite, because we have a lot of common. We're both smart as well as quite innocent, we both stand up for animal rights, and we're pretty shy. I wish I was with Roxanne in 1976 so I could have the chance be with Queen (especially Brian).
On my commute to work, Roxanne by the Police blasts from the radio. I remember Rox telling me I was lip-syncing this to her on the way home from a New Year's Eve party, one of the only parties where I got moderately drunk. A tear slides down my cheek as I sing it under my breath, imagining what it would be like to see her face again. She was my best friend, becoming more like my sister over time. Now she's gone. Forever, it seems like... unless I woke up in 1976 one day.
