(This is a short story I wrote)

She sat ever so quietly in her seat. The teacher was barking orders, his boring voice turning into nothingness.
She was a thinker, a daydreamer, something everyone feared. Her face was blank, but her mind wasn't. Past what people believed to be dead silence, it was something truly alive. Her thoughts always raced.
Her imagination kept her from being an active member of society. A wisp of hair fell, and the deadliness of reality hung over her for a few moments as she pushed the hair back into place.
Sure, she was always dead silent. But, silence was impossible to her. She was someone who worked with their head.
As the teacher tried calling her back into his boring reality, a wicked grin formed on her face. She stood, and left the classroom.
No one tried stopping her. For, everyone fears insanity. And the insane are always unstoppable.
