It's not real but it's ours
It happened when I was in earthrealm. I was Mayan's emperor. They love me and worship me like the god who protect them from the trespasser, Spanish. One day when I visit the village. Then, I found her. A woman with red hair and green eyes. When our eyes contacted she smiles at me. And that is when I know what is the meaning of love.
"Emperor..." "Call me Kotal"
I smile and kiss her on the lips. Phoenix smiles before we break the kiss.
"We shouldn't here"
I look around. We are under the big tree in the jungle.
"Why?" "If anyone see us?" "It's night now. No one come out and I don't want anyone in the palace hear your beautiful voice when you scream my name"
She hits my chest playfully. Under the moon light I could see her cheek burning into red.
She is my world. Everything of me.
I warp my arm around her body. It cold outside for human but it fine for me. I look at the sky. The moon shine so bright. I smile at it and kiss her forehead.
"Beautiful..."
I mumble.
Nothing least forever but... at less... just not let this happen.
"Without heart what can you do, emperor!!"
His evil laugh echo in my ears. My eyes wide with tears. She is lying there, bloody and dead. Her heart was ripped and now in that dirty hand. An African sorcerer laugh and throw her heart on the ground.
"No heart, no way to bring her back from death" "SHUT UP!!"
The need of vengeance fill my heart make me feel stronger than before. His dark words no way on me anymore. I quickly reach him and rip his chest. I scoop his heart out and eat it.
"Phoenix..."
I kneel beside her. Pick her head up.
"No..."
The scream in agony echo through the area. My only love... is gone.

I slowly open my eyes and see a familiar figure sitting next to the bed, watching me. When I see the color of hair and eyes, I call out immediately.
"P-Phoenix!?" "Have a bad dream, Kotal?"
She asked and smiled at me. I get up and walk toward her. She stands up and look at me with confuse. I pull her by the waist and hug her tight. She slowly hugs me back.
"Is that you?" "I'm here..." "...I'm sorry, Phoenix. That was my fault" "Don't balm yourself, Kotal. No one want this to happen" "But at less I could do anything"
I hear she sigh and says.
"You do Kotal..."
She pulls away and puts her hand on my left chest, where my heart is.
"I never go to anywhere because I'm in here"
She pointing at my heart.
"You remember me. That make me feel so glad"
She smiles, I smile back and pull her on my bed and hug her tight.
"Can you stay with me like this for awhile?" "You don't have to asked"
She purrs and quietly sleep in my arms.

I open my eyes again to see my empty bed. The sun slowly rise, make a light on the sky. I slowly get up and walk reach the window.
"You know what, Phoenix..."
I pick the red feather up. Her favorite decorate.
"I don't want the dawn to come..."
I just want to hold you tight before the dawn is come, and you will fade away from me again.
