I was sitting with Jill after I was left in the dust by a wood nymph. Jill was doing a little tune on her reed pipe making the strawberries grow. The air smelled like a warm summer with friends walking in a small orchard. I asked Jill the question on my mind,"Jill can you tell me the story about the pine tree," she stopped making music and hesitated to answer, "Well this story begins at the end of World War 2, The Big 3, Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades made a deal to not have anymore kids. That deal didn't go far, Zeus couldn't help himself and had a child with a movie star. When Hades knew about this child he did not have mercy. A satyra was assigned to take her and 2 other kids. They were being chased by the worst monsters in tartarus. Thalia said to her keeper to keep the other kids safe, he argued, but there was no way out anymore. When she died Zeus gave her pity and turned her to the pine tree that protects the camp."
