I thought today will be like one of those sluggish days after a major exam but it wasn't. Special section is not just a label, the classes here are more advance than the rest of the curriculum. The first two subjects before recess were quite challenging, the teachers use research-based strategies in teaching which enhances the student's ability to eliminate unnecessary information and identifying key concepts, substitution of inputs gather into our own words during summarization.

My eyes drifted on the four corners of the classroom and I can see that everyone is actively participating and are really serious about their grades. Aside from the perks of being look up by other students if you are on the special class, the school also provides rewards based on standard of performance. And the rewards weren't a joke, like shopping spree, trip to Hong Kong or Paris, 3 days vacation to Palawan all expense paid by the school and many others. And about the latest ranking I had just received my gift card worth 100,000 pesos since I top the class together with Jairus.

"Let's go Az, sobrang nagutom ako sa mga pinagawa sa atin ." Tinanguan ko naman sya and slid my bag on my shoulder at nauna ng naglakad palabas. I was not that far from my seat when Zayn put his arm my shoulder. I know it's him based on his aura and his smell.

"Di man lang kayo nag-imbita. Besides manglilibre kayong dalawa ngayon ni Jairus alam naming natanggap nyo na yung reward nyo." Him being this close feels relaxing but what's making me uncomfortable are those glaring eyes from the girls in our class and another burning stare at my back. I look at him innocently. "What? Wala kang balak manlibre 100K kaya yun!"

"Can you two just fucking move, nakaharang kayo sa daanan." Sy growled on our back as he shoved Zayn on his shoulder. Napairap nalang ako sa ginawa nya, si Zayn naman ngumiti lang at hinatak na ako palabas ng classroom. The walk to the cafeteria was quite scratchy, ang daming nagbubulungan at nakatingin ng masama sa akin o sa amin ni Savannah.

I was startled when Jairus grab my arm when we reach our table. My head snap on his direction and I look at him quizzically. "Hati tayo sa libre." Tinatamad na sabi nito sa akin before he drag me towards the counter. There's really something in him which compels me to just let him hold my arm. Because if he was another guy, I would have shove his hand off mine in an instant.

"Why don't you pay for all of us, I know you're rich." I said when I regained control of myself.

"And you're not?" Balik tanong neto sa akin. Tch! Kung si Savannah lang sana ang i-lilibre then why not. Hindi naman kasi kami close ng buong 5X. I bit my lips to stop myself from arguing with him anymore. Like I've said before, I don't know why but I am scared of him not because he was scary and he can kill me anytime like the chills First gives me every time our eyes met. But he has this different kind of power over me that I just can't name.
