It has been a week since inter-high. I can still remember how that dead boy looks, that teacher's sinister grin and that frightful question from Jairus that I was able to reply with a "Huh?" as he stares at me with doubt. I stared back and masked my face with my practiced confuse look. We were only disturbed by Savannah when she called for me as the teachers order our immediate return to our quarters. Fortunately, Jairus did not push the topic even more and the doubt on his eyes vanished.

Ngayon nga ang sama ng tingin sa akin ni Sy. I was on the dining area of their private room obviously ransacking their stock of food. "What?" Nakakunot noong tanong ko sa kanya. "Zayn brought me here." My eyes fell on Zayn na nakatingin na din sa aming dalawa ni Sy.

"Tama sya dude. Tsaka marami pa naman tayong pagkain dito." said Zayn so I gave Sy a smug look which even sharpens his glares on me but I just ignore him.

"Kailan ka pa naging madamot Adriel?" Pagsali naman ni Jairus na tahimik lang nagbabasa sa gilid kaya tinignan ko uli si Sy sabay ngisi. At wala na syang ibang nagawa kundi irapan.

It was already 4 in the afternoon and I have nothing else to do. Savannah was absent the whole day kaya dito ako napadpad sa kota ng 5X. I was busy with my foods ng may bigla akong maisip na gawin. "Zayn."

He immediately turned to me with curiosity. "Bakit?" My eyes lingered on him for some seconds before I speak up.

"Cutting tayo." I said with a straight face which made his mouth gape open.

"Seryoso?" Nagdududa pa ding tanong nito sa akin. I also felt that the other boys were observing us.

"Oo nga. I'm bored baka makatulog lang din ako sa klase."

"Saan naman tayo pupunta? Tsaka wala akong dalang sasakyan ngayon nakisabay lang ako kay Kelvin." Disappointed na sabi nya sa akin. I can clearly see that he wanted to go with me.

"I have my bike." I mumbled.

"Pasasakayin mo ako dun?" He queried with his eyes full of excitement.

"Why not?" I said shrugging. "Kung gusto mo lang naman. " Dagdag ko pa.

"Of course!" He gladly replied with his fist in the air kaya napatawa nalang ako. "Ano, tara na."I take one last spoonful of my food and wash the used plate fast para maka-alis na kami kaagad.

"What are you guys doing?" I quizzed. Nakatayo din kasi silang apat at ready ng umalis.

"Aalis din malamang." Malamyang sagot sa akin ni Sy kaya si Kelvin nalang ang tinignan ko.

"Sasama kami sa inyo." He answered with that amused look on his face.

"What? Eh di mabubuko tayo nyan kung marami tayong absent mamayang last period." Reklamo ko kaagad. It will easily caught our teacher's attention if all seven of us including Savannah were missing.
