Why is Cooper here?

I tried to reason on my head on why he's here. And the only thing that really makes sense is, he's the one behind all this. Remembering what Vincent had said, he leads them and those guys obviously were from the north. I shoot dagger looks to Cooper which I think somehow affected him. His lips parted before he concealed himself behind the shadow.

"Azure! Anong nangyari?" Justin queried as he took Gavin's free arm to help me carry him. Buti nalang naisipan kong dumaan sa likod para wala ng issue. We might get disqualified because of this if an official saw us.

"He was beaten up by some boys in the park."

"Kanina ko pa kasi 'to hinahanap. Sya nalang kasi yung wala sa room namin." His gaze landed on Gavin. "Bakit ka ba kasi lumabas pa dude? Alam mo namang nasa lugar tayo ng kalaban."

"Tss. Someone texted me."

"Who?" He looked at me with confusion.

"It's not you?"

"What? Wala nga akong number mo eh." Those bastards used my name to get him. That Cooper guy, I decided this afternoon to give him the benefit of the doubt but I guess he had already proven himself. That little pissed of shit!

We managed to get inside their room without anyone noticing us. Even their roommates were already asleep. "Hey Gav" mahina kong tawag sa kanya not wanting to wake the two sleeping boys. "Balik na ako sa room namin." I told him when our eyes met. He looks hesitant, like he wanted to say something but couldn't. "Oh by the way give me your phone." I key in my number and returned it to him. "Don't get fooled again, okay."

"Why......How did..." I guess he was pertaining about me playing the stupid heroine awhile ago. "Nevermind." Bawi nya at napabuga nalang ng hangin.

"Don't worry Gavin, they ain't gonna get away with this, not after hurting the ones I cared." His eyes soften and I give him a soft smile before I walked to the door. "And also, please keep this a secret between the three of us. We wouldn't want this inter-high end up in chaos right?." Nagtinginan muna silang dalawa bago marahang tumango.

The next day I woke up earlier than the others. Naglinis muna ako ng katawan and brush my teeth before I changed into my fitted black yoga pants which covers up to 4 inches below my knees and paired by a black sports bra. I grab my headset and my phone after I adjust the lace of my running shoes. Stashed some money on the inside pocket of my pants and left our room.

I am currently listening to my medicine by pretty reckless as I jog on the arena's oval. It's only 5 am kaya konti lang ang nakikita kong tao. I was aiming for a 5 round jog and I am already down to my last two round already. Suddenly feeling annoyed, I bit my lower lip hard as I felt that familiar presence. Inconspicuously my eyes wander around the area and I wasn't wrong, he's here.

The girls were ogling at him as sweats dripped from his perfectly sculpted body. He's only wearing a semi-fitted plain white shirt which is already soaked with his own sweat kaya bakat na yung katawan nya and dark blue skinny sweatpants. He acted oblivious from the stares of the other people around the oval but his eyes were saying that he was very much aware of my existence.
