"So Tabby you going to come to the races with me tomorrow?" I asked, through the phone.

It was Thursday afternoon and I was sitting under a tree talking to Tabby while I watched Lola explore the lake that I had a view of. She was chasing and pouncing on everything that moved she was such a cute puppy.

"Who's going to look after Lola?" She replied.

"Take her," I replied and shrugged remembering she couldn't see me.

"Okay, I just hope she doesn't get scared," Tabby spoke concern lacing her voice.

"It's alright she's looks pretty fearless pouncing on the grasshoppers," I laughed.

"Okay, you wanna meet there, I'll take Lola in my car and she will sniff you out. Hey, has your bike arrived?" She asked.

"Not yet its coming at six so I'll start walking back now with Lola and you can take her then," I replied.

"Okay see you than," she said before hanging up.

'Lola baby," I whistled and she came rushing to me. Lola could find me and Tabby anywhere, she loved us and she would always win at hide and go seek.

She barked and jumped up on me licking my face causing me to giggle at her sloppiness.

"Ew, how unhygienic, I knew she was a dirty pig but seriously," a squeaky voice bitched, yes, bitched that's what I call slut talk.

"Oh Kate what a nice shade of ugly your wearing," I commented as I turned and faced her, Lola growled at her and I held her back so she didn't bite Kate's neck off. Although that would be a site to see.

"Who do you think you are, you can't just come in her and think you own the place," she snapped.

"Well honey sorry to break it to you but I don't give a shit," I spoke sweetly as I stroked Lola to calm her down.

"You are messing with the wrong person," she snarled and walked away.

"Nice to see you too," I called after her which she just flipped the bird at me.

"Hey Lola, good girl, now come on we gotta get back," I smiled and hooked the leash around her collar and walked back to the school.

When I reached the school steps I notice a figure leaning against one of the marble poles.

"Jackie?" The figure ask and smiled. Oh great.

"Zac? I though I made it clear I didn't like you," I replied with a sigh as he followed me inside.

"Jackie, you are the first person that has ever rejected my charms, it makes me want you more," he whispered the last bit pushing me up against the hallway to my front door and trapping me in. He sent kisses up along my neck but this didn't give me the slightest bit of pleasure.

"Zac you done yet? I have somewhere to be," I asked tapping my foot impatiently, as he pulled away when I wasn't reacting the way he wanted, his eyes darkened.

"Why don't you like me?" He practically growled cocking an eyebrow.

I leaned into his ear and whispered "your not my type and I don't date jerks."

And with my last words I pushed him away and walked the rest of the way to my door and slipped in with Lola behind me. I caught sight of Tabby with a glass against the wall she smile sheepishly.

"You are the bestest friend anyone could have," she squealed tackling me with cuddles.

After what had felt like a few minutes Tabby calmed down and I checked the clock, it was quarter to six.

"Damn," I muttered and Tabby looked at me as I stood up and searched for my keys.

"What's wrong?" She asked concern filling her voice.

"Just trying to find my keys," I smiled and searched frantically for my keys, "where did I leave those bloody things," I grumbled in frustration.

"There on the hook in the kitchen," Tabby laughed.

I walked to the kitchen and grabbed them running out of the door yelling my goodbyes as I slipped on leather boots and a jacket.

I walked out to the front desk and the lady smiled at me and handed me my jet black helmet. "Have fun," she smiled.

I half walked half ran to my jet black with orange stripes, Yamaha YZF R1 motorbike and smiled, slipped on my matching jet black helmet and flipping its tinted protector that made me unidentifiable to anyone who looked at me.

I swung my leg over my bike and pushed the key in loving the crackle of the engine it made. I smiled as I speed down the highway. The cool air whipped at the ends of my exposed air tickling my neck.

I felt the adrenaline fill me as I went faster. I was riding along a strip of deserted road and nothing could ruin my mood. I smiled at the only sound you could here was my baby's engine. I slowed down at the top of a hill and drove to the side of the road turning my bike off, flicking the stand down and leaning against it, watching the sun go down.

The colours mesmerized me like they did when I was little. They were my only escape from the cruel world I was living in. And him, the one that changed my life. I remembered every aspect of him from the different looks he would give everyone and how he saw them to the little dimples he had when ever he was truly happy.

There was one look I never understood though, the look he gave me.

A while after the sun had gone down I looked at the time on my phone it was just past seven thirty and I decided to leave.

I swung my leg over my bike and slipped on my helmet flicking the stand up for my bike and switching on my headlight. I started my engine and loved the crackling as I speed off in the direction I came in.
