I wheezed out a breath flinching as I felt bile rise in my throat. Coughing it out over my hands, my eyes widening when the bile had been blood.

I was in the girls toilets during Miss Lays lesson, it was Thursday and I had come to call my dad as he had texted me it was his break.

I clutched my head with a groan, I seriously had to get checked up, the dizziness was to occurring and I could tell something was wrong.

I dialled my dads number and he picked up after the third ring, "'ello?"

"Hey daddy," I smiled washing the blood from my hands and putting the phone between my shoulder and ear.

"Jackie legs, what's up?" He asked.

"Well, some prick messed with my dorm room dad, and not its got the words slut, bitch, and other names sprayed everywhere," I said angrily.

"Those assholes, is it totally stuffed?" He asked angry as well, and my dad barley got angry.

"Yeah, I've been staying at a friends, with my room mate, but I need something long term," I sighed.

"Well... I was going to give you this for your birthday... So you had a place you could call home," he said excited.

"You remember when I asked where the best place to live was?" He asked in a rush.

"Yeah.." I trailed off not sure where he was going with this.

"I brought you a beach house, its under contract and the papers go through in a few weeks time but its all yours," he announced.

"How big is it? What do you mean beach house?" I asked literally jumping up and down in the girls bathroom.

"It's two story, four bedroom, obviously one of those are mine and you get the master, so you'll have two spare, it's right next to the beach," he noted.

"Oh my fucking god I love you dad so, much!" I squealed.

"Naughty girl, stop cussing," he tsked and I smiled sheepishly.

"Sorry, when's the date that I can move in?" I asked.

"The papers are due to be finalized by the first of June so hopefully you can move in on the second."

"Thank you so much dad, I gotta get back to class okay," I smiled.

"Sure Jackie legs, I gotta plane to fly, I'll call again soon," he promised before he hung up.

I smiled rushing out of the bathroom the earlier pain gone as I tried to slow my pace so I wasn't running through the door of the classroom.

"Why do you look so happy?" Tabby asked as I sat down next to Jesse.

"Dad- dad brought me a fucking beach house," I squealed puffing from my short run to the class.

"Are you serious?" Tabby asked.

"Yes, I don't get it till June but its a beach house," I grinned.

"Oh my gosh, you lucky girl," Tabby smiled.

"Tabby, you do know what that means," I giggled.

"What?" She asked slightly confused.

"I'm not living loner, you have to be my roomate again," I grinned.

"Jackie that's ridiculous and I hardly doubt that my parents will let me," she sighed running her hand through her blonde hair.

"Tabby I've never once heard you or Zac talk about your parents, so I hardly doubt that they know anything about your current arrangements," I pointed out not taking no as an answer.

"Will it even be big enough?" She huffed giving in.

"Four bedroom, one for me, one for when my dad can come up and stay and one for you," I smiled.

"What are you going to do with the last room?" She asked.

"Leave it spare, for people who want to stay over," I shrugged laying my head on the desk as dizziness washed over me.

"Class, please get back to your work, I can't have too much chatter otherwise other teachers might think I'm not doing my job," Miss Lay smiled and the class quieted down to study their topic assignment which was about the J.F.K. assassination.

I looked through the text book I had in front of me writing down all the important dates and facts about the shooting. I winced slightly as I took a breath and a pain shot through my lung. Yes I definitely needed to get that checked out.

**

I pushed my way out of drama walking to my dads hummer to meet Tabby and Kain at, since Tabby didn't care about my driving and Kain's bike was still in the shop. Zac was still being an idiot about how I drive 'like I'm dodging cops and trying to torture whoever is in my trunk.' His words not mine.

'Lick me like a lolly pop,
Drop it down, stand up,
Ooh yeah, lick me real good,
Lolly pop-" I cut off my phone horrified at my ring tone.

What the actual fuck?

"Um.. Hello?" I asked realising that it was a call.

"Hello, miss Skye, this is doctor Carlos," a guy introduced.

"And..?" I trailed off wondering what he was calling me for, I didn't need to get my stitches out yet.

"I'm calling about your kidney donation to Tanya Gem," he sighed and it clicked.

"Oh yeah, um.. I've currently been through surgery for an accident that happened and I should be getting my stitches out in two weeks," I rambled.

"Yes, we are aware of that don't worry, the surgery will take place a week after your stitches are out, the dates are not confirmed yet but that's around the estimated time," he explained.

"Okay, do I need to do anything prior to the surgery?" I asked.

"We need a permission slip from your guardian and a blood bag on stand by from a close relative incase anything happens in the surgery," he told me.

"Okay, I can do that, when can I come and pick up the papers?" I questioned unlocking the car.

"Well whenever you want."

"Can I drop by today?"

"Yeah, just come by my room and I'll hand them to you."

"Thanks doc, I'll see you in a bit," I smiled and he said goodbye before hanging up as well.

"Hey Jackie," Kain grinned walking up to the car.

"Hey Kaine," I snickered and he frowned at the nickname.

"I told you I hated that nickname," he pouted, "you don't give anyone else nicknames."

"Yes I do, Zachary is Zac and Tabitha is tabby," I grinned.

"That's not a nickname, everyone calls them that its basically their name," Kain pointed out with a smirk.

"Fine, I'm going to call you Kain kong now, because you insulted my nicknames," I fake sniffled pretending to cry.

"Never become an actor Jackie, you really suck," Tabby laughed walking up to the car and getting in as we followed suit.

"Meh, I don't care," I waved it off starting the car and pulling out of the school carpark.

"Where are we going?" Kain asked with a frown.

"I gotta pick up some paperwork from the hospital," I shrugged.

I yawned pulling into the private hospital car park and getting out. I walked slowly into the hospital in case I saw my mother.

I stood in the elevator pushing the button to go to the second floor. "Hold the door please," someone asked and I pressed the button opening them as the familiar guy walked in with a folder of paperwork.

"Hey Connor right?" I smiled at the dirty blonde hair guy.

"Yeah, Jackie," he smiled back.

"What brings you to the hospital?" I asked.

"My Ma works here so I'm just helping her out, how about you?" He answered gesturing to the paperwork.

"I have to pick up my paperwork for my surgery," I shrugged.

"What surgery?" He frowned studying me to see anything wrong.

"Uh.. For my lung, did you see the races?" I asked lying.

"Oh yeah, are you okay?"

"I'm fine," I brushed it off.

"Well this is my stop, see ya later Connor," I smiled stepping out of the elevator.

"Bye Jackie," he smiled as the doors closed and I walked in the direction of Doctor Carlos office.

"Doc?" I asked knocking slightly on the door.

"Come in," he answered and I pushed the door open.

"Oh Ms Skye, that was quick," the doctor said wearily.

"Hey Doc," I grinned.

"Here's the papers, take your time to fill them out," he said handing me a folder filled with half a dozen papers.

"Thanks, I'll drop them back as soon as I can," I smiled picking them up and putting them in my bag.

"Goodbye ms Skye," he waved and I walked out the door and back to the elevators.

"Jackie," Kain smiled as the doors to the elevators opened.

"What are you doing here Kain? I thought you'd be in the car," I frowned eyeing him suspiciously.

"I've been on the elevator for the past five minutes, Tabby high jacked the music in your car," he explained and I stepped in pushing the ground floor button.

"Let me guess, she's playing an annoying pop song?" I asked with a laugh.

"Call me maybe, over and over again," he cringed just thinking about it and the doors dinged open.

"Hey, I just met you,
And this is crazy,
But here's my number!
Call me maybe!" I sung in an overly high pitch tone.

"My older sister listened to it all the time at home," he chuckled as we walked out of the hospital doors.

"You have an older sister?" I asked with a frown.

"Two actually, and an older brother as well," he shrugged.

"How old?" I questioned.

"Hayley is 22, Megan is 24 and Cole is almost 19," he listed.

"Do they go to collage?"

"Hayley goes to night classes back home and works for a designer as an intern, Megan is a actress and models, and Cole is in collage training for when he inherits dads architecture company," he said an edge in his voice.

"High expectations?" I guessed and he nodded his head.

"Do what you want to do, what makes you happy because if you spend your whole life trying to live up to expectations than your going to have one boring life," I smiled as we reached the car.

"Your lucky, your parents don't expect big things from you," he said mockingly.

"Well, my dad reckons that if I become anything besides a stripper and it makes me happy than his happy," I laughed.

"Hey Jackie!
this is crazy!
But you have my number!
So stalk me maybe!" Tabby sung as I got in making me laugh.

"Is she okay?" I asked Kain with a frown as she sat down in her seat and looked at the roof smiling like a dork.

"Um... Did she eat my brownies?" Kain's jaw dropped as he looked through his bag.

"Don't tell me they were hash brownies," I grumbled hitting my head on the steering wheel.

"Yeah, sorry, it was a gift," he apologised.

"Ice cream, ice cream, We all scream for ice cream," tabby sung.

"What stage is she in?" I asked.

"We this would be the show tunes stage, then she'll have the munches, than the hyper active stage, the vomit stage and the last stage where she passes out," he sighed and I pulled out of the hospital parking lot driving as fast as I could to the dorms.

"Roary the racing car, Roary the number one star!" she giggled.

"Chuggington, chugga, chugga, chugga, chugga, chuggington!" Tabby sang switching songs.

"You go distract the receptionist and I'll carry her to the dorm," Kain ushered and I hurried out of the car and to the entrance of the dorm office.

"Afternoon Jackie," Trisha smiled.

"Afternoon, hey could you help me? I'm looking for.. another pillow," I improvised and the brunette smiled at me again before walking into the back room.

"I'm so sorry about this," Kain whispered to me as he carried Tabby quietly past and she munched on his shirt.

"I'm sorry about your shirt," I giggled and he rolled his eyes before hurrying off in the direction of his and Zac's dorm.

"Here Jackie, found it," Trisha smiled and handed me pillow.

"Thanks heaps," I smiled rushing off after Kain.

"You got my sister high!" Zac yelled at Kain as I walked through the door.

"I'm sorry man, she stole my brownies," Kain winced as Tabby sunk her teeth into his collar.

"I'm a vampire," she muttered to herself and I giggled.

"Kain put her down otherwise she's going to eat you and Zac it wasn't Kain's fault Tabby got into his food," I instructed and Kain laid Tabby on the couch.

"Don't leave me mister cuddles," Tabby whimpered as Kain tried to pull away.

"Stay with her or she'll chuck a tantrum," I sighed walking over to the fridge and getting out Zac's chocolates that he had failed to hide.

"You are not sacrificing my chocolates," Zac said snatching them from my hands.

"I will buy you more later," I said snatching them back and walking to Tabby leaving him pouting.

I smiled slightly as I saw Kain sitting on the couch with Tabby's head on his lap, they made a cute couple. "That's adorable," I grinned.

"Shut up," Kain grumbled and Tabby looked up at me with wide eyes.

"Jackie! My best friend, I found mister cuddles and he stayed with me," she squealed.

"Mister cuddles, that was really nice of him," I smiled.

"Yeah, he hasn't left me like everyone else does," she frowned sadly.

"It's okay, I won't leave you," Kain whispered softly stroking Tabby's blonde curls and I smiled at how genuine his words sounded.

"Thank you mister cuddles, and you smell really nice too, like Pringles," she giggled sitting up and jumping on Kain's lap.

"Are you hungry Tabby?" I asked sitting next to Kain.

"Very much," she grinned licking her lips.

"Well Zac offered you his chocolate, do you want some?" I smiled showing her the quarter eaten chocolate block.

"I didn't offer," Zac grumbled leaning against the wall and crossing his arms.

"But Zac's a meanie, he probably put poison in the chocolate," Tabby frowned.

"It's okay babe, the chocolates fine," Kain whispered to Tabby and I giggled.

"Babe?" I questioned with a laugh and he stuck his tongue out at me.

"I'm trying to be nice," he defended.

"Are you sure mister cuddles?" Tabby asked innocently and he smiled warmly at her nodding.

"Come on before it melts," I said handing her the chocolate which she scoffed as fast as she could.

"Mmhh, yummy," Tabby smiled as she finished off the chocolate licking her fingers clean.

"Do you have Pringles? I really want some Pringles," Tabby giggled girlishly jumping up and sprinting to the kitchen.

"Kain, your her care taker for the night, and you have an extra pillow," I grinned evilly and he pouted before guilty walking after Tabby.

"I can't believe he got her high," Zac muttered angrily sitting down in Kain's spot.

"It wasn't his fault, he didn't know she would go through his bag," I shrugged and Zac sighed.

"Why did she go through his bag?" He asked frowning slightly.

"I don't know, maybe just looking for food," I guessed.

"Maybe, but she's going to be pissed in the morning," Zac said shaking his head.

"Has she ever been high before?" I asked.

"Yes, but she swore to never take drugs again after that, she's been clean since now," he frowned.

"Why was she taking them last time?" I questioned, I couldn't really see her being an addict.

"Leo," he sighed running a hand through his hair messing it up.

"I can't believe you used it as a pick up line," I said rolling my eyes at him.

"It was kind of my way of coping with how everything happened. The first time I said it I needed to vent and it just so happened that the girl I told felt pity for me and well you know," he explained disgusted in himself.

"Why did you like me so much at the start of the year?" I asked.

"When you first met me, I was a complete douche, when you turned me down you gave me a challenge, I wanted the prize, but over time when you kept turning me down I realised that I had been doing this for years. When I first met Leo I was a dick than too, but he taught me how to have a relationship a proper one, when he died I tried to take my mind off of him and surrounded myself with girls, it worked but than I saw Chloe, she was innocent and I was like the devil in disguise, I'm trying to change, I have a lot already, but I won't go after Chloe, she deserves something better than me," he sighed.

"Sometimes we think that the ones that love us deserve better, but you have to realise that if it was the other way around and the person you love is pushing you away, you would go after them, because its your choice with who you love, heartbreak hurts so much more than being with the one you love and their mistakes," I smiled softly at Zac.

"But what if I ruin Chloe, I can't do that to her," his voice cracked and I wrapped an arm around him.

"She needs to decide that on her own, you have to let her," I soothed.

"Guys I found Lisa's saxophone," Tabby shrieked running into the lounge room holding a blown up glove.

"She watches way too much Simpsons," Zac muttered shaking his head.

"She's your sister," I chuckled and Kain came running after her.

"Tabby, please sit down, you are three tubes of Pringles, your going to be sick," Kain called after her as she sprinted away from him.

"Mister cuddles has to catch me," she giggled jumping over the couch.

"Mister cuddles? Where did she get mister cuddles from?" Zac laughed.

"Because he gives the best cuddles," Tabby defended hiding behind me as Kain tried to get her.

"Please Tabby sit down, I'll give you a cuddle," Kain bargained opening his arms for her.

"Only if you cuddle me forever and never let go," Tabby grinned and Zac rolled his eyes.

"I'm going to be sick," Zac gagged as Kain nodded his head in agreement and Tabby basically jumped into Kain's arms snuggling into Kain's shoulder.

"His going red," I snickered noticing the slight tint on Kain's cheeks.

"Hey I'm not used to getting snuggled without them doing other things," Kain smirked.

"Touch her when she's high and I'll cut off your balls," me and Zac threated at the same time.

"Calm down, I don't take advantage of drunk or high girls," Kain said rolling his eyes at our threat.

"Cuddles, I feel sick really sick," Tabby said her face paling.

"Kain, bathroom, now," I ordered and he rushed off.

The next thing you hear is the sound of Tabby's stomach emptying.

**

"Hello?" The receiver asked.

"Hello, I would like to follow up on what happen about the dorm trashing in the boarding school," I answered.

"That case has not been continued," she said blandly.

"Why the hell not?" I bit out.

"Look you can talk to the head officer that was on that case," she sighed and put me on hold.

"Officer Love speaking," a gruff voice greeted.

"Hello, this is Jackie, I was just wondering why my dorm being trashed was not investigated," I said angrily.

"Because there was no evidence, and it wasn't a serious crime," he muttered.

"Well before that someone rigged my bike to blow up, and even before that someone ran me off the track," I snarled.

"We have no jurisdiction at the races," he said simply.

"I had two attacks on my life, are you bloody serious, I will get a PI if you don't continue my case," I threatened, even though I was going to do it anyway..

"Fine miss Skye, we will re-sweep the dorm but if we don't find anything than you have to leave this alone," mr Love sighed.

"Fine, but if something happens again I want a full investigation and the assholes to be found," I snapped hanging up.

I dialled another number with an angry huff. "Yo," a guy answered.

"Logan, I need you to look into something for me," I smirked.

"Nice to hear from you too babe," he chuckled and I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, yeah Logan, so can you do it?" I asked.

"In Jai?" He questioned.

"Yeah, my dorms been trashed and people keep trying to kill me, and the cops won't do shit," I grumbled.

"Well I do need a vacation," he laughed.

"I'll pay for flights and your first week if accommodation," I bargained.

"Just the flights babe, I'm not broke I can get my own accommodation," he yawned and I realised that I must of woken him up.

"Sorry about waking you Logan, its just the cops aren't being very helpful and I need to find out who keeps doing this," I sighed.

"It's no problem Jackie, at least it gives me a reason to visit, what happen with Tilly and Charles?" He asked.

"What do you mean?" I frowned.

"Well they spread so much shit about you around town," he muttered, "I had to punch a guy the other week because their still talking."

"Thanks darl, I'll text you the flight details okay, I have to go now and you have to get back to sleep," I smiled.

"No problemo Jackie, I'll be seeing you, hopefully soon," he laughed.

"Bye Logan," I grinned.

"Bye babe," he said hanging up. Logan was the only one that I let call me babe, only because when he said it, it meant something different.

Time to finish this blackmailer once and for all.

Logan is the best of his kind, he will find them. He better.
