69. The Arrest.

Jackie POV

I made popping noises with my mouth as I waited for penny to come back, she had told me we were leaving in an hour and was yet to return. Although in this room it could've been five minutes since she left.

My tummy rumbled and I groaned, "I want food."

This was the longest I've been without food, hell when I did the 40 hour famine I failed after two hours. But I donated two thousand dollars because I felt bad about eating that chocolate bar.

It had been what... A day, I'm pretty sure and this was ridiculous, although the lack of food did distract me from the fact that I couldn't feel my arm.

And now I'm thinking about it...

Damn.

I looked up as I heard the screech of the door being pulled open, "miss me?"

"Unless your going to let me eat you then no," I grumbled.

"I'm doing you a favour Jackie, I just want to make sure you look good for your funeral, that is if they ever find your body."

"You lost me after I'm, your to boring to pay attention to when I'm hungry," I mumbled.

"Well maybe this will get your attention, when you do die you'll be allowed to have saint Mary written on your grave because you died a virgin," she smirked triumphantly.

But she wasn't triumphant, not in this moment anyway, "I've known that for a while actually."

Her smirk dropped, "What..?"

Rolling my eyes, "why do you think I didn't press charges against Wayne? I could've taken him down for rape but I knew that the whole situation would be to easy, and that who ever did make Wayne do it wanted me to make a fool of myself in court."

"It was just a feeling but I had to check, so I got a doctor to do an off the records test and see if I was still a virgin, because you know you can do that these days. But even though I still had my card I was disgusted in myself for falling for it at first, so I couldn't sleep in a bed for the next week because it would remind me of what could've happen."

"So even though you think your some kind of mastermind genius, your not, your just a bitch that tries to take away everything that someone cares about in order to get back at them. You'll never have a normal life again Penny, you'll be running for the rest of it," I spat.

Her jaw clenched and she stood over me, she just glared for a moment before pushing at my shoulder. Pain shot through my body as the joint was tested and tears welled up in my eyes.

Now I could feel it...

"I don't care if I run for the rest of my life, I'll die happy knowing you suffered."

And then she left the room locking the doors.

Hopefully I had brought myself a little bit of extra time.

The door opened once again and Penny walked in glaring at me, "You bitch! What did you do?"

"What do you mean?" I asked innocently.

I heard shouting and penny stood behind me her switch blade in hand. Pressing the metallic object against my throat we waited.

There was shouting in the other side of the door and we heard movement as they tried to open the door. "Open the door Penny we know your in there!"

Her grip on the knife tightened and I took in a shaky breath. "Your never going to get away with this."

"Shut up bitch, I know your responsible for this!" She hissed, "if you open the door you'll never see darling Jackie again!"

The movement on the otherwise of the door stopped and I groaned, assholes.

"What do you want Penny?" I recognised Logan's voice.

"For her to suffer!" She snapped, yep Penny was definitely mental.

"Just being in your presence is suffering enough," I rolled my eyes, I wasn't very good in hostile situations...

"Shut up!" She screamed at me and the blade was pressed tighter to my neck.

"Just let Jackie go, we can work something out," Justin said calmly.

"Your never going to get away with this, whether I'm dead or alive you'll still be the one suffering," I glared at the door wishing I could actually see her face.

"Jackie your not helping!" Toby snapped at me.

"Your right..." She whispered to herself and the switch blade was removed from my neck.

I breathed out a sigh of relief, "I'll see you in another life Jackie."

Before I could fully grasp the meaning of her words I heard a slash of something being cut and then a body fall to the floor, my breathing hitched, no no no, she... She didn't.

Don't look.

Seriously don't look.

But I had to confirm my suspicion, turning my head slightly I saw her laying there the switch blade loosely in her hand. Her eyes were lifeless and her throat cut leaving a puddle of blood around her head.

And that's when I started to scream.

"Jackie! Jackie what happened?" I heard Jesse yell over the top of my screams.

I didn't answer him though, I couldn't, I began crying uncontrollably screaming as louse as I could trying to get her lifeless body out of my head.

A groaning sound was made as the door was torn from its hinges, it banged as it hit the ground. My head was pounding from the sound and my earlier pain was creeping back.

"Jackie, it's okay, your safe," I was engulfed with the comfort of Jesse.

But the warm feeling vanished when I remembered who Penny had listed, "don't touch me."

He pulled away and hurt flashed through his eyes, "She probably doesn't want anyone to touch her, don't take it to heart."

"No, he- he- knew- he knew about Penny," I forced myself to put it into words.

Jesse eyes widened and the room went quiet, waiting for his response.

But it never came, so I talked, "Arrest Jes- this man on account for being an asset in an multiple attempted murder case."

Law and order really did pay off sometimes...

The agent closest to him cuffed him and took him out of the room, reading him his rights on the way out.

"Get me out of these bonds," I snapped my tears gone now.

Logan stepped behind me and undid the bonds on my hands, I let out a cry of pain as he knocked my arm.

"Shit sorry," he apologised.

"Get me a stretcher and arrange for the morgue to pick up a body," jousting barked at another agent, he nodded and scurried off.

"Are you alright?" Toby asked helping me stand once logan had freed my feet as well.

"I'll be better when I see everyone that was involved in this behind bars," I said coldly before walking out of the room leaving Toby and everyone else behind.

Shouldn't people already know that payback, is a bitch.

Yeah I killed her, she was annoying me soz not soz. So it was my birthday yesterday and I was going to update then by I was to busy, sorry guys.

Hopefully the next update will actually be in a week. Hopefully.

And I know it's short but sorry, I had no idea what I could've added to it.
