As promised c:

I frowned putting on my guy helmet, completing my look.

This didn't feel right... Something felt bad, off.

The things Chloe had said came back to me, the photos that Jesse had put more questions into my head.

Everything was so confusing, and I wasn't sure if it was nerves or just a bad feeling. I hoped it was nerves.

I sighed shaking the bad thoughts from my head and walked out of my dorm, it was five minutes to nine and the race didn't start till half past so I was going to be early.

I got onto my bike triple checking it before I started my baby up and drove to the track.

"Hey Jackie, good luck," Britty smiled and I nodded my head and pushed my bike up to my place at the starting line.

"Hey Jack," Toby smiled pushing his bike up next to mine.

"Hey Toby, are you nervous?" I asked with a smile.

"Yeah, I feel like I'm going to stall it before the race even starts, or do something else totally embarrassing," he chuckled bringing my mood up.

"Agh, don't say that, you'll jinx yourself," I laughed.

"Hopefully it will all go smoothly," he grinned.

"Hopefully," I agreed and more races brought their bikes to the line.

"I think that's your dad," Toby chuckled pointing to a man that was jumping up and down with a big sign and shirt that read, go Jackie Legs.

I shook my head and walked over to him, "your embarrassing," I told him.

"I know that the sign totally gives it away, but I have an excuse, I'm your gay dad," he said with a grin.

"No your an idiot," I giggled shaking my head.

"I'm not an idiot, I'm just a cool dad," he defended.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night," I said rolling my eyes and the announcer told all the racers to head to their bikes.

"I'll see you at the finish line Jackie," my dad laughed.

"I'll be the one with the trophy," I smiled walking back to my bike to get ready.

"Let the best racer win," Toby grinned sliding on his helmet.

"I'll try to go easy on you," I joked doing a man hand shake before getting onto out bikes.

"Are the racers ready?" The commentator asked and we all gave a thumbs up.

"Welcome, ladies and gents to the championship teen finals, whoever gets the top three positions will be in the championships. You will be judged on your performance by our lovely judges. The first one across that line will be secured a position. Tonight the people competing are, Jack Skye, Jesse Frey, Toby Taylor, Blake Love, Kain Lockly and Zac Hux Let the race begin," the announcer boomed.

"On your marks,"

I started my bike.

"Get set,"

I got into position.

Go!"

And like that I was off and into third place behind Jesse, Blake Kain leading and Toby close behind me.

This was a five lap race, and my strategy was to at least stay close to first place, or passing it, until third lap.

I sped up as I turned the first corner blocking Toby as he tried to pass me. I stayed close to the inside of the corners waiting until Jesse would mess up and give me a chance to break through.

Finally after the first lap he left a gap as he tried to pass Kain, we hit the dirt an I took over leaving Toby to battle with Jesse.

I sped up trailing Kain and at the same time blocking Toby from passing, we completed another lap, leaving us on our third lap and our formation was tight.

Just as Kain stumbled a bit on the dirt I took that opportunity to pass and sped up now being in first place.

By the fourth lap Jesse and Toby had also passed Kain and were fighting over second place. As I hit the dirt again I wobbled leaving a gap to the right side of me.

Unfortunately for me Toby noticed this gap and passed me speeding into first place as we turned the corner on the dirt.

Jesse was still close behind me and as we passed the finish line and went onto our last lap he gained on me.

I was focusing on finding a gap as Toby hit the dirt and frowned when I noticed something leaking from his bike, something wasn't right.

I widened my eyes as his bike wobbled and sent him flying across the track and into the side barrier. I stopped my bike that bad feeling coming back and rushed to his side, ripping my helmet off in the process.

But before I was even there I heard a click from my bike as I got off and the last thing I remembered were a pain piecing me in the back causing me to cough blood and the crowd to gasp.

The last thing I saw though was Toby's body that wasn't moving and had blood rushing out of his head.

And that bad feeling I had all day, now had a reason.

**

Oh my cliff hanger or what!?

Lol jokes, I'll be cool.

Jesse's POV

I panicked as her bike exploded, I saw the shards stab into her body. It wasn't a natural bike explosion it was rigged. But by who?

I didn't even turn my bike off as I stopped and ran over to her. A metal piece of her bike was sticking out of her back and looked rather deep.

"Someone fucking help!" I yelled and in moments an ambulance team were over here.

"Son you have to step back so we can access the damage," one of the guys said and I nodded my head stepping back to give them room.

"Does she have any conditions?" One of the medics asked.

"Yes a blood deficiency," her friend Tabby answered for me.

"We have to get her to the hospital," one of the meds told the other one.

"But we have to stop the blood," he replied.

"Okay but John there is a big piece of metal sticking out of her," the first guy pointed out.

"She'll need surgery, immediately," he said and that was the last that I heard before I was pushed away and she was taken to the hospital.

**

I flinch as I walk into the hospital, I promised myself that I'd never come back here. All the bad memories of this hospital hit me every time I walked inside.

Those memories would never leave me.

I sucked it up and walked into the waiting room to find that it was basically full, Tabby, Britty and Chloe sat together tears rolling down their face and Jordan, Scott and Zac hugged them trying to soothe them.

Blake stood up as came in with watery eyes but he wasn't crying, Blake never did. He gave me a slight smile before giving me a man hug and I just realised that I had been crying as well.

"How is she?" I asked although my voice was raspy.

"She's in surgery now," he sighed and was say down next to her father and her mother who were shaking.

I glanced around frowning when I saw another pair of parents who were also crying, "who are they?"

"Toby's foster parents," Blake answered.

"Oh..." I trailed off not sure how to reply to that.

"Why did you come?" Blake asked me knowing that I haven't set foot in a hospital for four years now.

"I had too, for her," I chocked on my words but I didn't care if people saw me like this.

"Have you rung all your parents? So they know where you are," the nurse asked and no one said yes.

"Could you please ring them they'll need to know," she sighed and walked away.

"I can't ring mine, they won't understand, they never understand," Blake sighed putting his head in his hands.

"Mine don't even care," Zac sighed.

"Mine are dead..." Chloe whimpered pulling out her phone.

"Okay I'm sorry but I can't be in a hospital," I sighed getting up to leave.

"Why?" Tabby asked.

"Bad memories," I said and walked out.
