You could feel a rock, a solid lump of hysteria and panic, form in your stomach while a wave of dizziness ran over you. These were the things... The things that took down Earth. You couldn't help but think, wondering why they were here in a place like Lucere. The things that killed Myde... You were surprised that your fists clenched together. Fear gives way to anger, and you wanted nothing more than to send that small bug into oblivion. Then again the feeling of wanting to run far away and save you own life while you still could.

A shimmer of light burst through the room, and you saw Sora spring from the bed. Sora was holding an oversized key in his hand. A key...? Cute, innocent Sora lunged forwards towards the entrance of the room without a second thought, piercing the creature and freeing a pink heart from it. The shimmering gem-like heart let off a soft pink glow, almost as if it was happy, but that wouldn't make sense, would it? But... I get the feeling that there's more to these...

The bright blues which radiated from Sora earlier shone like beams of light, forcing back the darker subdued monotone darkness of the heartless. You could hear other students in the hallway joining the fight, and for the moment it seemed like everyone would be able to hold the bugs off.

"Wait... Riku..." You reached out for him, worried to think what would happen if they fought those things. Riku summoned a key into his hand, more ominous looking than the glimpse of Sora's you saw earlier. The colors around Riku flourished with the arrival of the key, minty hues lighting up just as Sora's bright blues did.

"We'll keep you safe!" Riku reassured. His eyes glimmered with something you couldn't place, but he seemed so much taller and mature. Your voice caught in your throat and you nodded your head ever so slightly.

"Don't worry (Name), I'll keep you safe."

What the hell was that...? That was... That was Rai's voice, wasn't it?

"Be careful..." you murmured once you looked up. It was a bit late since you could already hear Sora and Riku outside fighting. You turned to look at the only other inhabitant of the room. "Aren't you going to help?" You got the feeling that the boy seated on the bed knew just as much as Sora or Riku would have- if not more. The blond turned his eyes on you, widening once they made contact with your unhesitant eyes. A sort of knowledge that was exclusive to those who'd seen battle lingered in those blue eyes of his, you could sense it. In a way he really did look like Roxas's twin.

"Y-You can see me?" The boy tilted his head slightly at you.

"Why wouldn't I be able to?" Did that mean he was a ghost or something...? You swore he was just as solid as you were. He stared right at you, brows furrowed, lips pursed, he even started scratching his head (which you had to admit was kinda adorable). "I hate feeling helpless..." You muttered, clenching your fists slightly. The boy shot you an empathetic look, he knew the feeling all too well- it seemed.

You could tell that the heartless were fighting a losing battle, the cheers of victory and battle cries belonged to Sora and Riku and other students you didn't know. A single heartless had slipped through their defenses- even though they cut so easily through the others. A sense of déjà vu washed over you as the blue eyed creature crawled down in that weird way that heartless had of sticking to the floor. You realized that the blond stood off the bed, stiffening as he looked around. "Do you feel something weird?" He asked you. You didn't answer him as you stared at the heartless, mesmerized by the colors spiraling around the heartless. The bold orange, gold color around the heartless wove seamlessly with a neutral tan, bright but not blinding. It definitely wasn't the same subdued grey or black that you saw with all the other heartless. Its blue eyes seemed almost intelligent as it locked glances with you.
