Okay so here's a little chapter on small but big tips I know for editing covers. I'll also include a list of some of the best instagram profiles to get textures off of, along with ones that are great to spark some inspiration.

Finding Images

The best place to find HD photos for shows is screencapped.net, which is where I get a lot of my photos. If I want just a photo of a celebrity, I usually just search example "Nina Dobrev Photoshoot" and find some good ones. If not, you can literally type in any celebrity name and add .net or .com to the end and you'll usually find a whole webpage on the celebrity. Just go the gallery then and look through photoshoots, magazine scans, ect. It's like a field day. If you still can't find anything, Tumblr and WeHeartIt are great places as well.

Simple Covers

When making covers like mine or ones with just a plain background with a person, try to get a photo of them that shows the whole upper half of them. If they're missing the top of their head in the photo, don't use it. Also don't warp the photo when editing; it makes it look super sloppy and just ew.

Coloring

Try not to overdo on the colors of the cover. Try and stick to simple aesthetic colors that are eye pleasing; it attracts more readers that way. I recommend to check out some of the instagram profiles below for color themes, or you can google some up really quick.

Titles

Don't over do it on the titles. Try to stick to 1-3 fonts for one cover, or else it might start to look a little crazy. I also recommend to stick to white and black font colors, or you can go with neutral colors that look more basic and eye pleasing, not those bright yellow or red colors.

Quotes

If the quote doesn't fit right on the cover, don't put it on there. There's some cases where quotes look better on the cover than without and vice versa, so it kind of depends. I say that if there's not enough room for the quote to be put on there and still look good, don't bother with it.

Okay, I might add onto that more as time goes along since I'm sure I could think up of a lot more stuff but I'm a little tired right now, haha. So below are some of the best accounts that I hope you guys will check out.
